During the development, I used the following tools: First of all SAS C version 5.10b, CWEB by Donald Knuth and Silvio Levi from Fish Disk 551, BMake 1.4 by Ben Eng from Fish Disk 523, The RCS Revision Control System from Fish Disks 281, 282, and 581, Pas-TeX version 1.3 by Georg Heßmann (an Amiga port of TeX 3.14), Metafont from Fish Disk 486, The Amiga port of groff 1.07 (the extremely versatile GNU version of [nt]roff) from Aminet, and finally: The GNU emacs 18.58 editor, arguably the greatest text editor in the known universe, brought to the Amiga by David Gay (version 1.26DG). Finally, I used vim 2.0 for the occasional quick touch up of the manual pages. Its a nice vi look-alike, which I picked up from comp.sources.misc. It's also available on Aminet.
