This is a tiny door that let's you choose another STARTCHAT, for instance if your cosysop is in the room, or is your brother or something. REQUIREMENTS: ------------- Properly running Arexx. Rexxdoor in BBS:Utils/ and an assigned DOORS: drawer. Tested on a 2500/030 - 5 mb Ram - /X 4.8, but there should be no problems with other configurations. INSTALLATION: ------------- /X 3.xx+ Copy All the files from the archive to the right drawers. Now copy your BBS:nodex/STARTCHAT.??? to doors:RYL-ChatSelect/StartChat.1.??? Make the BBS:nodex/StartChat.??? like this: ------------------ ~CC_CHATSELECT ------------------ Okay... now edit the file DOORS:RYL-CHATSELECT/CHATSELECT.NAMES. This file works like this: ------------------ 3 <- Number of sysops iCE <- Sysop #1 (This is the DEFAULT sysop!) Dutchie <- Sysop #2 Chip <- Sysop #3 ------------------ Now when you've entered all your cosysops, go on and edit the files DOORS:RYL-ChatSelect/STARTCHAT.X.??? (where X is the sysop number) to your needs. Okay.. the door handles the STARTCHAT.X just like /X does, ie with acces levels and screentype extensions... You know what I mean, I suppose.. That was it! /X 2.xx & S!X Dunno, but it won't cause any problems if you install it as a normal AIM door, I suppose. USING THE DOOR -------------- Well.. that's quite easy...
