This door i made (is very small but working) for people to FORCE them to use AUTOSENT and no longer put in their handles after their UPLOAD. Why did I do that ? Well simply because the next generation of FIle.Id from ByteAndi will automatically copy the description of the user into the file if it ain't their yet ! Cööl I should think no ? But for this we must be sure that the user DOESN'T put in his handle aswell as this would be then copied again in the FIle.id.diz..and so at the end we would have the same Handle in the File.id.diz when uploaded anywere. So My door forces the user to install their personal SENT BY line BEFORE they can even upload. Notice that it needs the DOORS:FILEID/ to be pre- sent otherwise my door won't work. Suggestions and ideas are welcome on my bbs...use the SGST door to add your ideas, suggestions or whatever..or doors you want to see for /X in the future. ======================================================================= @endnode @node Cap02 "Requirements" ======================================================================= To install Operator Pager you must have the following things: Programm Location Description ---------- -------- ----------- Upload.rexx Wherever you like Main program - an Amiga Model (500/600/1000/1200/2000/2500/3000/4000/CDTV/CD³²) - the installed Version of OS\2, OS\3 or higher (Soft- or Hardware Version) - the installed .INFO Files in the directories. - AmiExpress v3.xx or higher. dunno for /X 2.xx You must use it like this : Edit your CONFx/UPLOADMSG.TXT(.GR) in your Conference and add this ~ ~CC_UPLOAD So now the user get's prompted if he didn't already use the SENT com- mand from ByTeAndi.
