Let you enter messages anonymus. Together with the MessFix util the replys will also get anonymus. «-----------------------------------------------------------------------------» Installation! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Copy all files to their places. Note, if you want users to be able to enter anonymus messages in one or some confs only you'll have to make new directories called ConfXCmd for these areas. Look in your /X manual for details. Sysops who uses S-Express or /X 2.x will have to put the following line in their BBSCmd or ConfXCmd file(s). ---( cut )--- EA XM020DOORS:Anonymus/Anonymus.x ---( cut )--- Now check out the information in the Anonymus.x.info. The tooltypes this programes reacts on is: FROMNAME : Let you chenge the name from whom an anonymus message is written. Default is Anonymus :), but it may be anything.... SYSOP : Here state wich access is needed for sysop use of this door. The only thing the sysop can do is to write anonymus messages to any persons on the board. Otherwise all anonymus messages is routed to all! Now it's all set to run, but there's one litle problem left. If a user replies to an anonymus message the message will be from that user to anonymus, wich isn't present at your board. Therefor I've made a litle tool, the MessFix util, wich you must run in you logoffbatch in order to have those messages fixed. The tool changes all messages to anonymus, or whatever you choose in the icon above, to a message from anonymus to all. Strange eh!? Well, check it out. The usage of the MessFix util is as follows: MessFix [path to anonymus.x] The second argument must only be entered if anonymus.x is anywhere but in the DOORS:Anonymus directory. If you use the default settings and just copy the icons you don't need this argument.
