The purpose of this program is to inform the sysop of someone logging on to the node(s) on the BBS. It does this by using the SPEAK: device to verbally tell you who and what node they are logging onto. To use this util install it in one of your BBS:NodeX/BULL???.TXTs ,that are shown durning logon, using the MCI commands like this: ~CC_ANNOUNCE! SO WHATS NEW???? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is the first public release of ANNOUNCE! but still what has been improved from the AFL/internal release is that now instead of writing a file in RAM: with the text to be sent through the SPEAK: device the ECHO command is used to directly write the text to the SPEAK: device.
