What is it? :
Gamma   Hydroxy   Butyrate:   It
comes  as  a clear liquid and is
often sold as liquid 'E'.  It is
not  XTC.   It  is  made  up  of
solvents and caustic soda.

History :
G.H.B.  was developed in America
(surprise,   surprise)   as   an
anaesthetic.   It  happends on a
natural  tip  as a fatty acid in
the  body in very small amounts,
and  is  also  found  in certain
fruit.   During  the 80's it was
used   by  body  builders  as  a
growth-hormone  stimulant, where
later it was banned.
It  recently came back as a part
of  the  Californian  dance  and
club  scene,  it is rumoured and
came to light by the media after
the  implication in the death of
River Phoenix.

Highs :
Euphoria,            relaxation,
hallucinations  and  immunity to
pain.  Increases your sex drive,
so always carry your rubbers!!

Lows :
Amnesia,  loss of muscle control
and  muscle  spasms,  low  blood
pressure,   weight  loss,  fits,
vomiting,  vertigo,  respiratory
problems,         uncontrollable
drowsiness.      Symptoms     of
