¹I  just read a text about the death of
Chit   Chat..    It   was  written  by
Retep/Mirage  who  was  the founder of
Chit  Chat together with Tomcat/Mirage
way  back  in 1991.  As you all know I
was  the  main  orginizer & manager of
the   last   two  Chit  Chat  issues..
(14+15)  If it wasn't for me chit chat
could  have  died  a  premature  death
already  in  April  1994 when issue 13
was released..

Retep was a friend of mine, also since
he lived only 30 minutes from my place
together  with  Tomcat.   We sometimes
gathered  in  a nice disco called `The
lantaarn'  I  visited  him alot and we
had  much fun..  Like the time we went
to the arcades to play Virtua Fighting
2,  or the time the whole Mirage bunch
gathered  at  Retep's  place to have a
good time..  And now in November 1995,
I  can't  see  but  wonder  how I ever
could have joined Mirage...

When I joined Mirage I liked it, I was
good  friends with them and they liked
me..   I  really  enjoyed  making chit
chat  and  I  was  proud  of it!!  But
after  I left them in the beginning of
june  to be groupless, and to join The
Upstream  staff,  they started to talk
behind  my  back.   And  spread  words
about me being kicked out of mirage !!
And   that   is   just   the   way  it
happened...



¢In  the  text  file  RETEP  -  amongst
others - stated this:

¹"Another  MAJOR  mistake  was  to take
MAGIC in our Chit Chat team!"

¢-Yeay  right, I still can hear you say
one evening that I could have the Chit
Chat  and  do  whatever  I wanted with
it!!

¹"He  made  our mag fall down, and made
Mirage   the   most   hated  group  in
holland..  So this bastard may burn in
hell !!!!"

¢-Maybe I made you magazine fall down a
little   compared   to  certain  other
magazines,  but  issue 15 was the best
Chit Chat issue ever released !!

¹"A  tip  for  NAH  KOLOR..   kick that
bitch  !!   You don't really know him,
he   is   the  most  hated  person  in
holland, fucking everybody up, talking
shit  about everybody !  Everything in
the MAGIC-X intro was true !"

¢-Hmm..   Retep  wants to ruin my scene
life  even further?  Well Retep, I can
tell  you  that I have not been kicked
!!   Although  you  did  a  great  job
talking  to  the TRSI orginizers (Like
Control)  ..   Nah-kolor  doesn't  now
me??   Try again Retep, I know Dreamer
&  Norby better than I ever knew you..
As  I  found out when you started this
campaign against me...

¹In  October  Retep closed down his Bbs
and  declared  Chit Chat dead, because
of  several  reasons.  One of them was
that  the cooperation with TRSI didn't
work out as he hoped it would..  Guess
who was the first guy behind this?  It
was me!  When I was still working hard
on  Chit  Chat  16, my friend Tsm/Trsi
asked  me  if  Chit  Chat  could  be a
cooperation  between  Trsi and Mirage.
Ofcourse  I  said  I would think about
it, but after the trouble when I left,
Retep  continued this plan, also since
Control/Trsi  was  a  co-sysop  at his
BBS,  so it was really easy for him to
do  so..   I  can still hear Retep say
something like this:

¢"I   don't   care   how   I   get  the
modules,Articles  etc.   ,  as long as
Chit Chat get's released."

¹To all readers out there:  if you know
me,  judge  for  yourself, am I really
such a bastard ?  I don't think so..
