˙˙00˙ ˙00˙01˙03˙01Distant Voices˙00 ˙ ˙01˙01 ˙"Woops", Tobias said when we were giving this issue its final touch, "look what I found here. We got this letter from The Ripper, and it must have been a year ago! A little late, perhaps?" So, a year or so too late, here is what The Ripper said. ˙02 "Dear Oepir Risti editors, I've just finished to read the editorial of the fifth issue of your magazine and I feel the duty to write down a couple of lines to clarify my position and the thoughts I had in mind while I was writing the text you rightly defined as a mere misunderstanding. What I wanted and I still want to fight is the new fashion of sceners, and particularly of some editors, that think to hold the power of setting what people have to do, what's right and what's wrong, what makes a scener or, even worst, a man cool and what makes a man useless. I'm sorry if I misunderstood your words, as I perfectly agree a life worth to live is made by thousands of nice and less nice experiences, as you wisely said. But I also believe the most important duty of a writer, even the most unknown writer, scene or not scene related, is to give people the widest range of informations possible and to let people themselves to choose what they think it's the best for them. Call it "Freedom of choice" or whatever you want, but let it ruling our magazines. ˙ ˙Giving you my best wishes for the future releases of your "carved stones" I dare to send you the latest issue of our "The Charts", hoping you'll enjoy its contenents. Friendly yours... THe RiPPeR/rAM jAM" ˙01There's no arguing there, right?˙ ˙02"...and then I converted Oepir Risti issue seven and put it in my AmigaEmulator directory on my P75. I had no greater hopes of success, so I did not believe my eye when it actually worked! A real shame, I mean my leaving the Motorola for Intel. - Polyfemos / Agony PC" ˙01Well, look at that!˙ ˙02"A nice one indeed!" ˙01...said Origo / C-Lous.˙ ˙02"Oe... Oepir?" ˙01...said Svea Andersson.˙ ˙01Another letter arrived on the 25 April, and it told us the following... ˙02 " To the oepir risti staff, I must say that I like your magazine very much, although I find it very hard to find. It is like nobody knew about it except for me, and that's no good. Have you ever considering spreading it more? Just send it all latest issues to me, and I will make sure it will reach the Polish people. Yours, Ghostface." ˙01From now on, Oepir Risti will belong to the polish people. ˙01
