ÿÿ00ÿ ÿ00ÿ01ÿ03ÿ01FiShWaVe Is Wrong!ÿ00 ÿ ÿ ÿ03ÿ02PUH / AGONY ÿ02ÿ01ÿ01ÿ00ÿ ÿÿ01I more than willingly accept the fact that I do not deal with the hottest stuff, and that it, accordingly, takes a while for me to get what I want. If you, however, thought that this would stop me from reacting when I eventually find what I want, you're mistaken. If there is anything I dislike in this world, it is self pride idiots, and what I saw when I faced Seenpoint issue one made me feel sick. The following lines of text are directly quoted from the mentioned issue, may be that they lose a little of their meaning as they were taken out of their natural milieu (the trashcan?). I did not change anything, even though it, by God, felt hard to let those spelling- and grammar-errors get away just like that. FiShWaVe/Sardonyx (or however he has chosen to write his name), apparently some editor in chief, is responsible for most of what's below. ÿ02"... One attraction after the other will amaze you, we will entertain you without taking a breath just to make you laugh and we will show you new sensational stunts you have never heard of and you have never seen." ÿ01Hmm... There was NOTHING new nor sensational with Seenpoint? Average, standard, normal, boring, you name it, but it sure as hell wasn't NEW or INNOVATIVE. Well, you could say, maybe he referred to the articles when he said sensational stunts; maybe what he said was that Seenpoint featured creative articles? I hope he did not, because if he called those articles sensational, he has not seen any other disk magazine. FiShWaVe, your magazine is a COPY, not an original. ÿ02"Do you really need RAW, ROM, Abnormalia, Upstream and the other puppet theatres?" ÿ01Well, that depends on the situation. If I have to choose between them and you, the answer is yes. If I can choose between both sides, why, I'd choose them anyway. ÿ02"...a scene related diskmag which is different from everything you have seen so far, ..." ÿ01No, fishy, the point here is that your magazine is "...a scene related diskmag that does not differ at all from the rest...". ÿ02"Seenpoint is in fact now the only diskmag which has a big non serious scene part...", "...Seenpoint is the only mag which can offer you scene entertainment." ÿ01Considering Oepir Risti having contained all but less serious scene articles since the start, you are wrong. As for the second sentence, I bet you meant "Seenpoint is the only mag which OFFERS..."; you see, every magazine CAN offer, so you better watch your English. Oh, by the way, BEEP, wrong answer, hereby referring to all existing OR issues. ÿ02"We don't need any articles about stamp faking or diskstealing..." ÿ01Have I not heard that before? In about say six OR issues? Who is copying who? ÿ02...comparing Seenpoint to RAW, Upstream or ROM is everything else that fair!" ÿ01Yeah, it is? Well, what should we compare it to then? The Amigaguide? And why are you to be excluded from what everybody else has to go trough? I know you meant that we ought to take the fact that this was your first issue under consideration, but if it, as you claim, was so fucking brilliant, how come we are not allowed to judge it? Afraid of what we would come up with, perhaps? ÿ02"...Why are we not like Oepir Risti: We are a scene mag and we have some articles to offer." ÿ01 You are right, you had a number of articles to offer. Wonder when you will learn that it is the content of the articles and not the number of articles that counts? As I go by the content, you had FOUR articles to offer. Not much, not even for a first issue. ÿ02"...Oepir Risti issue 4 by Citron. was released at the same time as Buzz #5. Everyone could see that the editors suffered from the Buzz-virus." ÿ01Come on, you cannot use one "issue X" and one "# X " in the same sentence, you fool. Anyway, OR 4 was released one day before Buzz 4, not at the same ("but I mea... SHUT UP!), and if any of us two suffers from the Buzz virus, it is, by God, you! It is with a certain amount of excitement that I await an answer in one or another form, and I guess that it'll be "another form" that will become actual. I bet I'll have my head cut off in the ASCII world of Seenpoint issue two or three or whatever. Further on, I assume I'll have to hear a lot of "that sucker does not understand irony, sarcasm and bla bla", and, you know what, I don't; irony is something limited to those who masters the usage of language, and as long as you will go on criticizing others at the same time as A) you do it in BAD ENGLISH and B) those you threw shit at actually were a lot better that you, well, how can you expect to be taken seriously? ÿ01
