= - UGA PD DISKS ---------------------------------------------------------- =

   The whole UGA story started when we started releasing our Public Domain
   disks. These disks mostly contain originial material that has not been
   released before. A lot of material is sent directly to us by the makers
   or made by our own artists. 

   The series are not like many others a Fish-clone but a range of disks 
   that offer the best utilities, animations, games, art, demos around.

   Many programs where released for the first time on the UGA disks like: 
   Diskmaster V3.0 (Gully), the QL emulator, Powerpacker V2.1, Smuscopy,
   Bootem, IFF to executable, Super-ripper, Deluxe paint framer, Seka-
   generator, Kicksaver V2.0, Soundsystem II, Discruncher, View 80, IFF
   Converter (France), Bootshop , Zoomwindows, Telstar menu, Zoundmonitor,
   Ghostwriter 1.2, Xenon III and even more exclusive songs, pictures,
   demos, games (Lingo etc) and animations by Harry Hart.

   Ofcourse our disks where being ripped by several other libraries but
   they couldn't imitate our way of presentation and real new releases. 
   
   Often PD companies received full credit for the release of a certain 
   program in the local magazines for a utility that was first released 
   on our disks.

   Even more sad is the fact that software developers are using PD material
   in own productions without even asking. A company as Tynesoft (now out
   of business) did rip the Axel F tune made by Ron Klaver of the Jungle 
   Command out of a PD demo for their AMIGA version of the game. 

   Ron didn't get any credit in the program and a payment stayed out despite
   promises to us on the phone. Perhaps a task for F.A.S.T ?
   How about protection of the rights of artists who put their work in the 
   Public Domain or Shareware and see there work being used in a commercial 
   game. Is this no piracy ?? I think it is even worse !!!
   We will not hestitate to publish such cases in the near future.
   Play fair and pay the artists, gentlemen.



   Just watch out for new UGA releases which will really offer new 
   material directly from the sources in more than 20 countries.

   Watch out for imitations and get our latest disks directly from an
   official UGA license dealer who can offer all our products to you.
   Only PD suppliers with a good reputation will get this license.

   Feel free to give copies to your friends or other AMIGA users.....

   I like to give my friend Martyn Brown a compliment for his job on
   the AMIGA PD scene in the UK. Thanks to him and his friends 17Bit

   disks are still part of my favourite disks (he Allister!).
