                         CLI HACKS!!
                         ~~~~~~~~~~~
Here we have a few programs you can use to improve the design
and layout of your own disks. All you have to do is copy them
over to your own disks, run the hacks from your Startup-sequence
et voila! Lovely looking disks can be yours for evermore.....
Please Note:
~~~~~~~~~~~~
These are CLI utilities, and some can only be run VIA the CLI,
the icons are here to enable you to drag the utils you
require onto your own disks, NOT for running the tools.

Right then, first of all we have 3 CLI-Background Utilities
courtesy of REAPER of THE POWERLORDS U.K.:

CLI-BACK1
~~~~~~~~~
This gives you a shaded background to the CLI screen.
WILL NOT RUN VIA WORKBENCH! CLI ONLY!
This turns the background BLACK and displays your own 4 word
message!
WILL NOT RUN VIA WORKBENCH! CLI ONLY!
CLI Usage: Cli-Back2 [x] word1 word2 word3 word4
Where x denotes the colour of your text and is a value between
1 and 7. Your message can be 4 words (of UP TO 7 letters each
word) which must be in lower case NO UPPER CASE words will be
recognised.
e.g:
   CLI-BACK2 1 this is the one
 *Displays THIS IS THE ONE in Purple over the Black background.
   CLI-BACK2 2 this is the one
 *Displays THIS IS THE ONE in Yellow over the Black background.
   CLI-BACK2 3 this is the one
 *Displays THIS IS THE ONE in Cyan over the Black background.
   CLI-BACK2 2 GET YOUR ROCKS OFF
etcetera etcetera, the remaining x values giving:
STARS
BLACKOUT
~~~~~~~~
Turns everything BLACK!! Handy if you want to keep a few things
hidden, or just for making things look neater! Handy to use
BEFORE issuing the Rainbow command for a nice effect! (Multi
Coloured text on a black background!)
Can be run via the Icon, but as it turns everything black it's
not really advisable 'cause you can't carry on using the
workbench!!

CLI Useage: BLACKOUT

RASTERS
~~~~~~~
Turns the screen various shades of blue, colours in your
text and sets some bars spinning around!! Nice to put at
the beginning of your disks! Press your Left mouse button
to continue with the startup-sequence.
Will work via workbench but doesn't multi-task, i.e the bars
will appear over your Workbench screen but all other activity
will stop till you click your left mousebutton.
CLI Useage: RASTERS
BAR
~~~
Gives a bouncing Purple bar over the screen, use over Black
paper - Black Ink for best effects (Say after the Blackout
command) Pressing the Left Mouse Button continues the sequence.
This one will also run via it's icon, but as with Rasters,
will not multi-task and the bar will disappear when you click
the left mouse button!

CLI Useage: BAR

COPYING
~~~~~~~
Copying the commands on to your own disks can be done in a
couple of ways:
i  - Via Workbench. Click on the Utilities icons and drag
     across onto your own disks.
ii - Via CLI. Double click the CLI Icon (Found in `CLI-Hacks`
     drawer) and type the following:
     ONE DRIVE OWNERS
     ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
** Type COPY C/COPY TO RAM:
     Puts the COPY command in the Ram Disk.

** Type COPY CLI-UTILS/{NAME_OF_TOOL} TO RAM:

{NAME_OF_TOOL} can be any of the CLI-TOOLS:

CLI-BACK1   CLI-BACK2   CLI-BACK3   RAINBOW  BLACKOUT  STARS
RASTERS     BAR

       e.g to copy Rainbow to Ram you would type:
       COPY CLI-TOOLS/RAINBOW TO RAM:

      Repeat the above command until you have copied all
      the tools you require into the RAM Disk.

** Once copying to RAM has finished, Remove WB Hacks
     from your drive and Insert your destination disk.

**   Type RAM:COPY RAM:{NAME_OF_TOOL} TO DF0:
     Repeat this line til all the tools you copied have
     been transfered from RAM: to your own disk.

This puts the tool(s) onto your own disk, don't forget to
edit the disks startup-sequence to incorporate your new hacks!

    TWO DRIVE SYSTEMS
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
**   Leave WB Hacks in your internal drive, insert your
     destination disk into the external drive.
**   Type COPY CLI-TOOLS/{NAME_OF_TOOL} TO DF1:
      Where {NAME_OF_TOOL} is any of the Cli-Tools:
CLI-BACK1   CLI-BACK2   CLI-BACK3   RAINBOW  BLACKOUT  STARS
RASTERS     BAR
     Repeat this line 'til you have copied all the tools you
     require onto your own disk.
Hope these instructions are OK! If you are unsure about
copying/dragging the files across please refer to The Manual
supplied with your machine, if you're still stuck write to us at this address
