Version 1.30 - 19th February, 1990 I've finally removed that very irritating bug which caused Lhwarp tracks to be corrupted. My mind is now at rest; this bug has existed since version 1.10, and has been driving me to insanity (I could never find a track which caused this error.) Many hundreds of thanks to Bob Collinsworth for pinpointing the bug, and sending me the tracks which caused the bug to make its presence known. The help was MUCH appreciated! I can now breathe a huge sigh of relief. Lhwarp 1.30 now includes the output file size within the output file itself. The reason for doing this, was that certain file transfer protocols (such as Xmodem), pad files whose lengths are not multiples of 128. This had disastrous effects on files produced by previous versions of Lhwarp, because Lhwarp would attempt to process these extra bytes. Lhwarp 1.30, however, now knows when to stop. Lhwarp 1.30 also allows the use of other devices besides trackdisk.device. It is very important that you refer to the updated documentation for a full exlanation of this subject.
