I am writing this here so everyone can read it as we are going to see a
fload of false shits about VISCORP/ESCOM/AT etc
  
VISCORP USA consists of true AMIGA lovers as THEY CALL THEMSELVES. Some of
them are gurus who MADE Amiga OS itself at the first place!!!!
Their intention is to make the Super Amiga. That is the super computer of
today as Amiga was for 10 years ago when it was introduced. For the 
user/market/moment, this is not going to change anything. The hardware
development will be held by the Amiga team in AT and there will be new OS
developers (among them some of those who originally made AmigaOS, that's 
the first true multitasking OS for a personal computer. The different is
that AT now belongs to VISCORP USA which in turn is a company that LOVES
Amiga and yes, they have never had any PC development (remember that both
good old C= and ESCOM made Pecees) if you wonder + VISCORP USA is a very
rich and represented US company.
 
Many Amiga gurus, amoung them Dave (AMIGA) Haynie, Woody (Softwood) 
Williams, Michael (SoftLogik Publishing) Lanmarc and Kermit (Nova Design, 
Inc.) Woodall are very happy that VISCORP now own the AMIGA. I guess
these AMIGA developers/gurus know the market much better than the Joe
average computer user wanna be elite dude that is gonna write/spread craps
about the situation :)
 
Anything else you read anywhere else is pure craps and speculations.

What I have been telling people is not to worry.  We are all
Amiga lovers here.  Unlike ESCOM or even Commodore, VIScorp
does not have a single IBM PC person in the development group. 
We are all solid Amigans from the very beginning.  Personally
speaking, I don't plan on killing the Amiga.  In fact, I'm
hoping to build one killer Amiga!

Talking about something else, Holger Kruse of the AmiPPP, ReORG and AmiWin
fame is now beta testing 'Miami', the all new TCP/IP stack+PPP all in a
single program that creates only one IFF config file (say goodbye to the
messing with AmiTCP ;)
As you know, Holger knows how to make awesome applications and 'Miami'
won't be anything but a superior internet stack for our beloved computer.
Go register it when it is available.
 
Nova (ImageFX) Design, Inc. is now the official owner and developer of
Aladdin 4D, the premiere 3D modeling, rendering, and animation package
from Adspec Programming. Aladdin 4D new version 5.0, expected to ship
in early third quarter 1996.
