ReadMe for Aura 1.01
====================

Manual
======
The section in the Menus chapter which describes the setting and use of
the Undo and Edit buffers has been omitted.

Quite simply, this panel allows you to determine the devices which Aura
will attempt to use for the two buffers. By default the Undo buffer is set
to "SYS:" (the current System device) and the Cut and Paste buffer to "T:"
(normally the RAM disk).

The SELECT buttons to the right of each disply will produce the system
file-selector which will allow you to guide Aura to a device and drawer
of your own choosing.

The settings for the devices can be saved in the usual way by selecting the
Save Settings option at the foot of the Settings menu. From then on, Aura
will read the storage devices from the "Aura_Settings.inf" file.

Known problems
==============

Undo and Edit Buffers
---------------------
A problem can occur if Aura receives a disk error during an Undo or Edit
buffer operation. Amongst other things, this may happen because the
nominated device has run out of space or is locked or write protected.

If an error occurs, a message appears on the Workbench screen which you
must CANCEL. This will then take back into Aura and you will be confronted
by another error message which you must also answer. This rather awkward
arrangement is being addressed for an updated version of the software.

New Window Requester
--------------------
After typing a new frequency into the sample Rate field, you MUST hit
either the Return or Enter keys afterwards in order to force Aura to
recognise the new value. This will also cause the program to adjust the
timings in the bottom left-hand corner of the display as necessary.

Simply clicking on the OK button is not good enough, otherwise the new
sample rate will be ignored, reverting to its original setting.
