About this program ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I made this program just for fun and myself first, but I decided to add some options and to release it. I'm a swapper and I really hate to addressing evelopes (especialy when the address is really strange and hard for me). That's why I've coded it. I hope that you will enjoy my work and use it very often. Please support me with all suggestions, comments, bug reports. Please notice that unregistered version of Addresser v1.4 allows you to print an address one time only. Previous versions of Addresser allowed you to print the addresses unlimited times and they were full versions even if they were unregistered. This address is also for friendly and fast elite swapping. 3. Options ~~~~~~~ 3.1. Options which you can select from gadgets on the main screen only. [+] - next address, key "+". [-] - previous address, key "-". [0001] - number of actual address. You can put your number here. [trashcan <-] - copy line to trashcan. [trashcan ->] - copy line from trashcan. [+] or [-] - it decides if the line will be printed. Now (v1.2+) Addresser remembers it with all addresses. 3.2. Options which you can select from gadgets, menu and keyboard: 3.2.1. New project Clear all old addresses and open new project. Key: - 3.2.2. Open project Open and load new addresses. Key: Amiga "O" 3.2.3. Save project Save addresses using old name (update file). Key: Amiga "U" 3.2.4. Save as Save addresses using new name. Key: Amiga "W" 3.2.5. Save as ascii Save addresses as ascii-file (using new name). Key: - 3.2.6. Print Print actual address - see also "Print to". Key: Amiga "P" 3.2.7. Preferences Open new window with preferences. See options which you can select from preferences. Key: - 3.2.8. Author ?! Exchange Exchange actual address with destination one. Key: Amiga "E" 3.2.15. Jump Jump to selected address. Key: Amiga "J" 3.2.16. Search for Search for typed text. Key: Amiga "S" 3.2.17. Insert Make space between addresses. Key: Amiga "I" 3.2.18. Copy line Copy one line in the same address. Key: Amiga "N" 3.2.19. Clean up Clean addresses-structure - remove empty frames between addresses and then sort them. Key: Amiga "X" 3.2.20. Open old data (v1.2+) Open old data (created by Addresser v1.0-1.1) and convert them to new size. Key: - 3.3. Options which you can select from preferences (only gadgets): 3.3.1. Print sender It allows you to decide if the program will print sender on the evelope. Key: - 3.3.2. Center printed text It allows you to decide if the program will center address on the evelope. Key: - 3.3.3. Condensed sender It allows you to decide if sender text will be condensed. Key: - 3.3.4. Long evelope It allows you to decide if the text to print will be 80 chars wide (for A4 evelopes). Key: - 3.3.5. Change printer preferences It allows you to decide if the system preferences will be changed while program is starting. Addresser changes: - print spacing to 6 lines per Inch. - print quality to letter. - print pith to Pica (10 cpi). Key: - 3.3.6. Space between texts It allows you to decide how much empty lines will be between sender and address (max.60). Key: - 3.3.7. Sender text style It allows you to choose sender text style. You can select by pressing on gadget these styles: Normal Bold Italic Key: - 3.3.8. Address text style It allows you to choose address text style. You can select by pressing on gadget these styles: Normal Bold Italic Key: - 3.3.9. Default data-base You can put here (or choose by requester - press zoom-icon) name of your addresses-base which will be read while program is starting. Key: - 3.3.10. Print to Name of place where the address will be printed. Key: - 4.
