READ ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD'S PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE In God's plan for your life you need to understand that GOD LOVES YOU. The bible tells us in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. SO YOU SEE, GOD REALLY DOES LOVE US AND WANTS US TO BE WITH HIM FOR ALL ETERNITY. ETERNITY, JUST WHAT IS ETERNITY? ETERNITY IS FOREVER. THAT'S RIGHT WITH GOD YOU CAN LIVE FOREVER. 25 ZILLION YEARS FROM NOW YOU WILL STILL BE ALIVE IF YOU ARE ONE OF GOD'S CHILDREN. In God's plan for your life you must understand that there are TWO ETERNAL DESTINIES. Mat 25:46 "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life." SO WE WILL EXIST SOMEWHERE FOREVER NO MATTER WHAT WE DO HERE ON EARTH. GOD CREATED PEOPLE TO LIVE FOREVER. LIKE ANGELS IN HEAVEN AND HIMSELF WE ARE DESIGNED TO LIVE FOREVER. HE GAVE EACH OF US A SPIRIT THAT CAN NOT DIE. WE MUST BE PUT SOMEWHERE AFTER WE DIE. IT IS UP TO US WHERE WE WILL SPEND ALL OF ETERNITY. GOD'S ULTIMATE PLAN FOR YOU IS THAT YOU WILL LIVE WITH HIM IN HEAVEN SOMEDAY. 1 Cor 2:9 "However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" GOD ISN'T TELLING US ALL THE BEAUTIFUL THINGS ABOUT HEAVEN. We want to sin and by sinning we are not serving God but Satan. The devil or Satan is not a cartoon man with horns and a pitchfork like we usually think of him. Satan is for real and he is against God and all that he stands for. Satan will use any method he can to keep us away from our savior JESUS CHRIST. There is a road, or a way of living that will lead you straight to HELL. This road can and many times does mess up your life even while you are still on this earth. MATTHEW 7:13 TELLS US "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. MANY PEOPLE ARE ON THERE WAY TO ETERNAL DESTRUCTION. There is a road that we can travel that will lead us straight into the arms of GOD. Mat 7:14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. ONLY A FEW PEOPLE WILL FIND THERE WAY TO GOD AND ETERNAL LIFE. YOU HAVE THAT OPPORTUNITY JUST LIKE ANYONE ELSE. ONLY MOST PEOPLE DO NOT WANT ANY PART OF GOD'S PLAN FOR THEM. DO YOU???? KEEP READING!!!!!! TO REALLY UNDERSTAND YOU NEED TO KNOW JUST WHAT SIN IS. ONCE UPON A TIME THE DEVIL CAME TO EVE IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN TO TEMPT HER TO SIN......... SO WHAT IS SIN AND WHY IS GOD SO CONCERNED ABOUT SIN? LET'S SEE WHAT GOD HAS TO SAY ABOUT SIN. 1 John 3:4 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. MOST OF US ARE LAW ABIDING CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, BUT ARE WE LAW ABIDING CITIZENS UNDER GOD'S LAWS? NO, NOT REALLY. GOD TELLS US THAT ALL HAVE SINNED AND BROKEN HIS LAW. Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, When you work 40 hours for your boss he gives you your wages. Well GOD has some wages for people who sin and break his law. Rom 6:23a For the wages of sin is death THE SECOND HALF OF THIS VERSE IS MORE ENCOURAGING, WE'LL GET TO THAT LATER, BUT FOR NOW...... WHY DEATH? WHY IS GOD SO SERIOUS ABOUT SIN. That is a very interesting question. Let's talk about this question for awhile. Remember the story about Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden? What did GOD say would happen if they ate of the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil? Here is is for you.... Gen 2:17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die." Did they die when the ate the fruit. YES But they lived for 930 years you say. YES THAT IS TRUE, but they lived those years in the absence of GOD. Before they sinned GOD came down from heaven and walked with them side by side. They had perfect fellowship with GOD. REMEMBER WHAT I SAID EARLIER ABOUT GOD BEING A HOLY GOD AND CAN NOT BE IN THE PRESENCE OF SIN. Well Adam and Eve now had sin in their lives and GOD could not be around them. You see, this is the death that Adam suffered and this is the death that we must suffer for the wages of our sins. SEPARATION FROM GOD. WHEN WE SIN WE ARE SEPARATED FROM GOD NOW AND IF WE DIE IN OUR SINS WE WILL BE SEPARATED FROM GOD FOR ALL EVER AND EVER...... THERE IS ONLY ONE PLACE IN THIS WHOLE UNIVERSE WHERE GOD IS NOT, AND THAT IS IN THE REGIONS OF HELL....... BUT THERE IS HOPE FOR US....... GOD HAS A PLAN TO SAVE US FROM OUR SINS. IT IS CALLED SALVATION. TO GET AN IDEA OF THIS SALVATION LETS LOOK AT SOME MORE SCRIPTURE. Titus 2:11-14 {11} For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. {12} It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, {13} while we wait for the blessed hope--the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, {14} who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. PRETTY NEAT SCRIPTURE VERSES I'D SAY......... WELL JUST WHO CAN HAVE THIS SALVATION?? LET'S SEE...... Rev 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. Some people will say that only certain people have been picked by GOD to be his people. This is ridiculous. The Bible tells us that GOD so loved the world, also he is not willing that any should perish. 2 Pet 3:9 "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." SO HOW MUCH WILL IT COST ME? LET'S CHECK AGAIN. Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. THERE IS THE REST OF THAT SCRIPTURE I SAID WE'D GET TO LATER. THIS TELLS US THAT ETERNAL LIFE IS A GIFT. GIFTS ARE FREE RIGHT? RIGHT. ALSO REVELATION 22:17 SAID IT IS A FREE GIFT. SO WHERE DOES JESUS FIT IN? AND WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE? The wages of sin is death.........REMEMBER Someone had to die and GOD chose his SON to take the place of you and me. BUT WHY JESUS? COULDN'T IT HAVE BEEN ANYONE? NO......... NOT JUST ANYONE......... ALL HAVE SINNED AND COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD.....REMEMBER? BUT NOT JESUS CHRIST...... JESUS IS THE ONLY PERSON WHO EVER LIVED A PERFECT LIFE...... HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO COULD PAY THE PRICE FOR OUR SINS....... HE DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY FOR HIS OWN SINS SO HE COULD USE HIS LIFE TO PAY THE COST OF OURS SINS ........ JESUS LOVES US VERY MUCH AND THAT IS JUST EXACTLY WHAT HE DID. Rom 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. JESUS IS GOD.... GOD became a man. He moved from heaven to earth to teach us the right way to live and to show us how to live it. When he had this completed he DIED THE DEATH WE DESERVE. THAT'S RIGHT JESUS DIED OUR DEATH. I LIKE TO EXPLAIN GOD'S GRACE AND GOD'S MERCY THIS WAY IF WE ARE GOD'S PEOPLE...... GOD IN HIS MERCY WILL NOT GIVE US WHAT WE DESERVE. DEATH IN HELL. GOD IN HIS GRACE WILL GIVE US WHAT WE DO NOT DESERVE. LIFE IN HEAVEN. ALSO JESUS DIED FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS...... Mat 26:28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Jesus spoke these words only hours before he was to suffer death by crucifixion for you and me. He spoke these words as he handed the cup of communion to his deciples. No one knew what he was talking about and they were afraid to ask. Today we know exactly what he meant. The shedding of Jesus' blood brought us eternal life! JESUS DIED TO GIVE US ETERNAL LIFE..... Now you have heard what GOD has done to save you from sin and death and hell. Sin can become very heavy and burdensome if you would admit it. HERE IS WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS....... HEAR THE WORD....... Rom 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. YOU HAVE ALREADY HEARD THE WORD AS YOU READ THIS MESSAGE BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD John 3:16-18 {16} "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. {17} For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. {18} Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. But unless you repent, you too will all perish. Jesus was asking the people if they thought certain people were killed because they were more sinful than others. Then he said NO, but unless we repent we will all perish. BUT WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO REPENT? REPENT MEANS MUCH MORE THAN ASKING GOD TO FORGIVE YOU OF YOUR SINS. THINK OF YOUR SELF AS WALKING THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION FROM GOD. REPENT MEANS TO MAKE A COMPLETE TURN AND START WALKING TOWARDS GOD. START LIVING YOUR LIFE FOR GOD. That's not an easy thing to do, but Christ will give you His Spirit to help you along the way. CONFESS BEFORE OTHERS THAT YOU BELIEVE JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD AND YOU HAVE ACCEPTED HIM AS YOUR PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR. Mat 10:32 "Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. BE BAPTIZED......... Acts 2:38 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Peter had just preached a powerful sermon telling them that they had crucified the SON OF GOD. Actually their sins and our sins crucified Jesus. The people ask him what they must do and this was Peter's reply. MANY PEOPLE WILL SAY THAT BAPTISM IS NOT NECESSARY TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN.....THE BIBLE SAYS IT IS.... CHRISTIAN MEANS ONE OF CHRIST'S PEOPLE. TO BE ONE OF GOD'S PEOPLE YOU HAVE TO BE ONE OF CHRIST'S PEOPLE. SCRIPTURAL BAPTISM WAS BY IMMERSION. IT IS A BURIAL..... A WASHING AWAY OF SINS. BABIES WERE NOT BAPTIZED BECAUSE IT HAS TO BE THE DECISION OF THE PERSON COMING TO CHRIST, NOT SOMEONE ELSE. NO ONE CAN FORCE YOU TO FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST. IT HAS TO BE YOUR DECISION.
