1......  LISTENING   (1.. 3:40       2.. 4:03      3.. 3:53)

   This is a `multimodule`, which justs means that all three songs use the
   same samples. This saves a lot of space.  The songs are  `You know I love
   You`  (3:40)    `Listening`  (4:03)   and   `Friends`  (3:53)
     `Friends` is a song by Led Zeppelin, which is just a taster of a 
   forthcoming Led Zep disk (see Future Products). This song is especially 
   good because of the odd chord changes, and apparently discordant backing 
   which all fits in well together.
     `You Know I love You` is by me, and follows a pretty standard song 
   structure. It`s all pretty middle of the road Sting type stuff. Like
   listening, the middle eight has a change of rhythm
     `Listening` is also by me. After a guitar intro a fast drumbeat comes in
   then chords and strings. The lead tune is taken by an electric guitar 
   sampled from a JV-80 keyboard. The middle eight has a change of rhythm (I 
   tend to do this a lot in my music) which is followed by a guitar solo. The
   bass is also sampled from a JV-80.

2...... LOOK AROUND YOU  (3:31)

   `Look Around You` is a slow piece of music. It starts off with a string
   intro, then an acoustic guitar comes in. It`s quite mellow, ending with
   a quite bluesy guitar solo.

3...... CHANGING  (4:35)

   This song is based loosely on one by Extreme from there third album. The 
   song is the excellent `Am I Ever Gonna Change`, and I borrowed heavily
   from it, especially on the chorus. The middle eight and verses are mine,
   though!

4...... HEAVEN HIGH  (3:25)

   I thought I`d put this one on for a bit of a change. It`s a laid back, 
   slow piece of music, with a good use of chord changes. (Well, I think so,
   anyway. But then I would, wouldn`t I...)  The main part of the song, and
   probably the most memorable, is the part where it changes rhythm. Once
   you`ve listened to it a few times this should (I hope) really stick in
   your memory.

5...... GREENAWAY   (1.. 3:40     2.. 4.03     3.. 3.53)
   
   Have you seen any Peter Greenaway films?  If you have, then you either 
   love them or hate them. They`re usually full of sex and nakedness, and 
   torture scenes. What they have in common though, in my opinion, is that 
   they`re all brilliant, with astounding visual splendour coupled with
   excellent music. (aha - I bet you were wondering when I was finally going
   to come around to something that was vaguely related to music...)  Anyway,
   the music sounds pretty similar in all of his films, having a sort of 18th
   century/baroque type feel to them. The first song, Greenaway 1 (4:19) is
   my own composition, and doesn`t really have many similarities with any
   music in a Greenaway film apart from the use of strings. The second one
   (3:28) does, though. It repeats the main tune a lot (as in the films),
   has predictable chord sequences and so on. On the second part there`s a
   technique copied from the music in `The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and
   Her Lover` (DON`T watch this film while you`re having your tea!) in that
   there`s a chord out of place. The third piece of music (3:20) has music
   taken directly from the brilliant `The Draughtsman`s Contract` and also
   `Belly of an Architect`. 
        If anyone has seen `Prospero`s Books` then please write and explain
   it to me.

6...... WIPEOUT   (2:15)

   I don`t think I need to say much about this one, except that it`s all
   there, including the guitar solo...
