NClick V1.0 This program turns off that annoying floppy drive clicking under AmigaDOS 2.0. To use it, simply type: NClick [CLICK] Where is the trackdisk unit number of the drive you wish to affect; unit numbers are between 0 and 3. If you specify '?' for the unit, NClick will try to open all the trackdisk units and affect any that it finds. If you add the [CLICK] option, it will turn clicking ON, instead of OFF. If you try to run the program with an earlier version of trackdisk.device, it will fail. If the drive continues to click after you run NClick and you didn't see an error message, you should probably turn clicking back on to prevent damaging your floppy drive; some older drives do not handle the no-click logic very well. Examples: NClick 0 Will turn off clicking of DF0: NClick ? CLICK Will turn on clicking for all available trackdisk units. NClick is hereby placed in the public domain.
