@2 @7     The truth about Awesome         

@1Awesome   (and   not  Awsome  as  some
miswrite)  was  found in Jan 1991.  We
raised in the first months rapidly and
a  lot  of  guys  went  in to get some
other  out!   So  we  had from time to
time  kick  a  few  out!   We had also
putted  up  a  @3Swedish division@1,but we
never  heard  from them anymore also a
@3Danish  division@1 was formed, but after
producing a few intros the coders left
out  because  they didn't received any
GFX  from  us!  In fact I sent about 2
disks  full of GFX for Awesome to them
(but  maybe  my friend @2Krueger@1 thought
it   was   a   free  or  2nd  disk  to
anything?).   Then  also the organiser
@3Match@1 went out,because he wanted maybe
too  much  business,to join @3Company or
Skid  Row!@1  As I've heard until now...
he  has  quit  scene a few weeks after
leaving  us.   At the same time as the
@3Hypnotic-Energy-Awesome   Party@1   took
place  our  only  board  had  left  to
@3Zylon@1.On the party we talked to one of
the  mainorganiser  of  Zylon (I don't
want  to  tell any names if possible).
They  told  us to have the majority as
boards and modemtrading,but they still
didn't have any elite-mailtraders!  So
they  wanted  us  to join!  After hard
discussions   with   our   members  we
finally  agreed  to  join  in  case of
gaining  more  strength.  We were also
promised to get cheap hardware, but on
the  @2Zylon  meeting@1 the disaster began
to  take  place!   The organisers were
just  angry  about  each  other and so
they   were   also   with   e.g.   one
modemtrader!  Then  we  made a kind of
voting  but the result didn't fit with
the opinion of an organiser!  Shouting
at  each  other we made another voting
but  it  was  useless!  The group just
splitted  on the same night (or was it
day?).    Most   of   the   so  called
productive  guys  formed a team called
@3-Crush-@1.   We  were again told to join
because  "the  boards  will  follow us
soon!"   and   so  we  did  with  hard
feelings!   Personally  I  was  a  bit
pissed  with  my friend about all that
actions...  Later we heard that we got
some  boards  and  so  I wanted to log
into  one of these new boards but what
I  saw  was  just  that  it wasn't our
board!!!   Finally  Ventor  (and  some
other  old  Awesome members) wanted me
to  rebuild Awesome again!  I saw also
that   @2Krueger@1  joined  the  re-borned
@2Kefrens@1,  so  I  asked myself:  Was it
worth  joining?   No!   If there would
have been not so much trouble in Zylon
it  maybe  would have been better, but
until  now... Fuck!  Now  I  must say:
Friendship  in Awesome was much bigger
than in the other teams (and even more
funny to be the founder).  Now we have
a  bit  less  members  than before but
it's  just better!  If we will take in
other  members  than  only  productive
guys  (Coder,SFX,GFX,...) because they
want to work for the team and not only
advantages  like  most  of the traders
do!   We  will  also  open  a  finnish
division  and  hope  that  people will
join  who  like  doing awesome things!
But  please not only swappers anymore!
