Well,  what's  new?   Nothing much.
The  current  mag  code is V3.4.  Here
are the changes...

   Now,   the  complete  mag  code  is
relocatibile,  and  now  it  runs from
fast  memory  if  it  can.  Nothing is
absolute  anymore.   This  should take
out  any memory problems we had in the
past.   Also,  it should allow greater
compatibility.   Here  I  have to give
thanx  to  Elf/PLS  for  his help with
that.  TNX, M8!

   I  had  some  people complain about
the  drive  being  turned  on  all the
time,  which  apparently damaged their
disx.   And,  of course, we can't have
TOL  inflict  damage!   The drives are
new  turning  off  after  access. Your
disx  are  safe.   Still, I don't know
will HD turn off, haven't tried.  But,
that hasn't got much of a consequence,
as HD's are constantly turning anyway.

   I  am  amazed  how  some people are
blind  and  alltogether  plain stupid!
We  got  letters  saying  things like:
'Why  there  isn't  any  music  in the
mag?'.   Unbelievable!!!  On the FIRST
PAGE you see when you boot up the mag,
about  15  lines  from the top it says
(and I qoute):  'At the begging choose
one of the folowing musics:
  F1 - Too weak by Alpha
  F2 - Brotherhood by Noice
  F3 - Music of your choice'
(end  of quote).  And, furthermore, it
was highlighted in red!  Now you begin
to  ask  yourself  what kind of people
'read'  this  mag?   In  consequnce of
this,  now  you  can  also  select the
music from the menu (invoked by <Help>
or  RMB).  Now, even pople with the IQ
of  Atari  owner  will  be  able (will
they?)  to  listen  to  the music.  If
this  fails,  in #6 I'll code an intro
consisting   of   the  scroller  (with
128x128  font)  which explaines how to
start  the  music,  after which you'll
have  to  take a test in order to read
the  mag.   Maybe  we  should  have  a
slogan  like:   'T-O-L:   The  mag for
intelligent people'?

   I  also rewrote some of the article
selecting  code,  so there still might
(might?  hahaha...  what an optimist!)
be some bugs.

   The  music  replay  routine is new.
It  was coded by Chaos/Sanity and it's
truly  excellent.   That  took care of
the  bug  with music fade out routine,
it now works OK.


   From  now  on, you are also able to
exit  from  the  mag,  by pressing the
<ESC> key...

   Many  new features were planned for
this  issue  but,  we  had a change of
main  editor (it's me, now), I flunked
statistics    this   term,   we   have
electricity   restrictions   (due   to
draught  and  war  actions), I have to
work    on   my   graduation   program
simultaneosly...   All this results in
much  less advances than we hoped for.
So, they have to be postponed for next
issue.     This   includes:    article
viewer,   brushes   in  text,  printer
support and many more improvements...

   In the end, a request:  I'd like to
get  a  hold  of  PP decrunch routine.
Currently   we're  using  TimeCruncher
which  is  inferior to PowerPacker, so
I'd  like to implement PP crunching in
the   code.    If  you  have  it,  I'd
appreciate a copy.  You can send it by
