In all, I have been very pleased with The Point at Milton Keynes.  I suppose
that in a way I don't have much choice, as The Point is the only cinema in
Milton Keynes. 

The Point was the very first cinema in the country to have 10 screens. 10
screens were massive when the cinema opened way back in 1984, I can even
remember the first film which I saw there, which was "The Goonies".

There are plans once again to make The Point the biggest cinema complex 
around, as there are serious plans to add another 15 screens, bringing it
in line with the improvements to our shopping centre, which will once again 
be the biggest in Europe.

To you reading this, it may seem MAD but if you were living here and you went
on a Friday or Saturday night then you would understand why.  Last summer
"Jurassic Park"  stretched over 4 screens for a good few weeks. Of this 
year's releases only "The Crow" has stretched onto two.

The cinema shows all of the leading films and screenings start at midday 
up to midnight each day. The seating is comfortable and only a seven foot 
giant would be able to block your view. @5[I know what that's like... - Ed.]

Refreshment prices are a bit harsh but nothing out of the ordinary when
compared to other cinemas.

The Point has seen many premieres for a non-London theatre, with premieres 
such as Rocky 4, Little Shop of Horrors, Presumed Innocent, Patriot Games and
Benny and Joon. The Point was also seriously considered for premieres of
Jurassic Park and this year's Flintstones.
