Disk one from the March Programmer's Meeting.

	The  programmer's  meeting focuses on topics of more interest
	to  those  programming on the Amiga in Basic, C, Assembler or
	Modula-2,  and  for  those  who  can  use  the  command  line
	interface effectively to make use of utility programs that do
	not work under the Workbench environment.
	
	Consequently  this  disk  makes  little  use of the Workbench
	environment.  You will have to view use an editor, the "More"
	program, or a utility like DirUtil to view this disk.

			Disk Contents:

A68k1.10:
	An  update to Charlie Gibb's A68k metacomco-compatible assembler.
	This  one  extends  the  directives  to  be  recognize Manx Aztec
	assembler  directives, and the Assempro assembler's.  Charlie has
	also  added  a  number of options, and fixed a few bugs.  Best of
	all, I got it to run 1/3 faster on a 4500 line program!  C source
	code included.
	Author: Original in Modula-2 by Brian R. Anderson.
	C Conversion and many fixes and extensions by Charlie Gibbs.

AnimBalls:
	Animballs  allows  one  to  create a collection of balls in three
	space  and  then interactively rotate them in real time.  It uses
	HAM  mode  to  allow  for  a wide range of coloring.  C source is
	included for those wanting to see how it's done.

Arp1.10_User:
	Arp  is  short  for  AmigaDos Replacement Project, the name for a
	very  ambitious  task started some time ago by Charlie Heath with
	the  aim  of  replacing all the standard AmigaDos commands with a
	more  compact  set  with  less limitations.  (Did you notice that
	"List  #?.c"  is  allowed,  but  "Dir  #?.c" isn't?  Well the Arp
	version  of  Dir  will allow you to do this.) Version 1.10 is the
	first full complement of replacement commands.  Version 1.10 also
	has  some  novel  features  and  handy  extensions.  Have you not
	wished  that  some of those commands like CD, DIR, LIST, and TYPE
	were  memory resident, instead of being on the disk?  Have a good
	look at Arp's resident command.
	Authors: Charlie Heath and a whole host of others.

Autotest:
	This  directory  contains  two programs, Autotest and DiskVerify.
	Autotest is a disk performance test program while DiskVerify will
	do  the  same  for  both  floppy  disks  and  hard  drives.
	Originally  written  to  compare  hard disk drives on the IBM PCs
	(See "Fixed-disk Benchmarks" by William Hunt in the November 1984
	issue  of  PC Tech Journal).  Converted it to run on the AMIGA to
	test  the  performance of the hard disk, interface, and driver on
	the AMIGA by Michael L.  Hitch.  Includes source code in C.

Compress:
	Another  version  of  the  UNIX  compress  and decompress program
	ported  to  the  Amiga.  Includes source code in C and a makefile
	for Manx Aztec C.

FontConv:
	A  utility for converting MacIntosh fonts to the Amiga.  C source
	code is included.
	Author: Rico Mariani.

Hearts:
	A  program  that  allows  you to play the card game "hearts" with
	three  computer  opponents.   This  is the same program as on the
	March 1988 general meeting disk, but this one has the source code
	in C.
	Author: Ted Griggs.

REZ0.3:
	This is the BETA release version 0.3 of a new program and library
	called  REZ.   This  program  allows almost any program to become
	resident  and  under  the  right  conditions,  the  code  can  be
	simultaneously shared among multiple invocations.
