PaNorAmA 12A 10Dec86 Here is disk number 12A of the Vancouver PaNorAmA Club's freely distributable software. All programs on this disk are either donated to the public domain, or have been released by the author as "shareware". Guests are always welcome at our meetings. Be sure to bring a disk. You can go home from each meeting with one or two disks of free Public Domain software. Meet Disk Contents: ArtistTools o Egad - An Alpha version of a Gadget editor program from The Programmers Network. Requires Workbench v1.2. o SpriteED - a sprite editor program by Scott Lamb. This one looks fairly complete. o 3DWireFrame - a 3d Wire Frame Object Editor which looks interesting. Unfortunately part of the documentation was lost - will try to get the full documentation on the next disk. Gadgets o PopColours - Lets you change the Workbench screen colours without going through preferences. By Chris Zamara and Nick Sullivan. Source included. CLI o DOSHelper - Version 1.60 of an online documentation program to help you learn all of the Command Line Interface Commands (CLI). Program by John Youells who asks for a $10 donation if you use the program. Source is included. DiskTools o Browser - A friendly file browser by Bob Leivian who updated an earlier version on fish disk 18. This has a file requester that allows you to select the file or directory you want from a menu. With the scroll bar you can move directly to any part of the viewed file. Recreations o CSquared - A version of the Circle Squared algorithm from the September 1986 Scientific American. Similar to Charlie Gibbs AmigaBasic version, but in C. By Bill DuPree who includes the source code. o 3DStars - Wan't to see Warp 2 on the Amiga? Leo Schwab donates this program and the source code as well. Different effects are available if you run this from the CLI. o 3DBreakOut - Plays "Pong" in 3d if you have 3d glasses. o Sproing - You guessed it - another version of bouncing balls. Turn up your volume for this one. o RayTracing - A few more ray tracing pictures from Dave Wecker. I modified Bill Hennings program so you can view the pictures from WorkBench.
