What's your opinion?\LF\LF \C2The idea of the Forum-rubric was born, because we wanted to enhance the ZINE-topics by talking about general problems of this our world. The main aim of a computer disk-mag is not to talk about "such" problems, but to talk about computers. The Forum rubric can only be a little part of a computer disk-mag, not the main part. But as a little part of it, it's o.k., isn't it? Many liked it, or why do you think all mags introduced a same rubric in their creations? Often using the same name for it... There is no fresh air in the stinking room (the disk-mag-scene). Trying to repeat ZINE is nothing to look out for...\LF\LF \C3What are the main differences between ZINE and RAW?\LF\LF \C2RAW is like almost all mags a copy of ZINE, without reaching its quality.\LF\LF \C3Why is everything in ZINE so serious?\LF\LF \C2From our point of view we didn't reach the seriousness-level at which we wanted to have ZINE. ZINE was infact an inverted reflection of our private lifes. \C1It was so serious, because we are crazy in normal life.\C2 (Or at least most people think we are...) What we weren't in life, we were in computer-life. If you know us, you must recognize that we aren't serious at all. Our life consists of having fun, but that's no reason why ZINE should be fun, too. If you met Chester, you surely remarked that he is not serious at all. If you saw the "Primus 2.61" demo (by Brainfuck) and "Lemmings must die!" (by Piss-Storm) you know what Orlando is like in real life. To be only funny & crazy is boring. To be only serious is boring, too. But a mix of both is a very strong combination.\LF\LF \C3Did you really earn NOTHING by publishing ZINE?\LF\LF \C2Of course we earned money, but even BRAINSTORM members didn't know how much it was. Producing ZINE was very time-consuming and it was a hell of a stress. But after all we really did *NOT* "do" ZINE because of any financial reasons, we did it because we had fun doing it. But the truth is that we (Orlando & Chester) earned money and \C1we also had fun WITH the money.\C2 What has happened to the money we earned... you won't believe it, but we spent all of it. Some examples? Yep, here they come:\LF 1. After throwing it around in the room (200 1-dollar banknotes) we went to the next shop and bought food for over 100 dollars for a fun-weekend. We also borrowed 6 videos with the latest movies. A simple way to waste money... (Such weekends took place several times!)\LF 2. We went skiing in the beautiful Swiss Alps... ZINE-money paid for it.\LF 3. We regularly bought the latest compact-discs.\LF 4. Chester's new loudspeakers... from where do they come from?\LF 5. Pizzas, hamburgers, Coke... everything for free in restaurants.\LF 6. The trips to the copy-parties... (Cologne, Aars, Luxembourg etc.)\LF\LF \C3Let us talk about the future of BRAINSTORM...\LF\LF \C2BRAINSTORM does still exist and some things will be released soon. Mainly Rob Rose, Oli and Axel are still working on some demo-projects. (Music-land will be released soon!) BRAINSTORM doesn't have any foreign sections anymore. We're again a pure Swiss group! Orlando & Rob Rose just released their "Lemmings must die!" creation and they will probably publish another crazy creation in the future. Other BRAINSTORM members are working on games. Our games will be published under the label \C1*BRAINSTORM PRODUCTIONS*.\C2 A demo-version of the first game will be published soon. The Sky (a new member) is coding it, Chester is drawing the graphics and Axel is composing the music for it.\LF\LF \C3Chester, did you manage your girl-problem. It was very often to read in ZINE about all your love desasters.\LF\LF \C2That was geat fun to write about it in ZINE. You write about your most personal things (all I wrote was nothing else but the truth!) and you don't know who is reading it, you don't know any reactions, laughts, cries, or anything. Okay, what has happened to me?
