\C3\F3\BFCONCLUSION FROM JOGEIR:\LF\NM\LF

\C1Boosts missing!!! This tune fits in hospitals to keep the
blood-pressure in rhythm with the heart! In future, all of you
techno-freaks should try organizing your own compo for techno-makers
and lovers \C2ONLY!!\LF\LF

\C1I don't mean to drag you down personally Gin, it's for all of
you techno- believers. If you're on vacation in Africa visiting
some inhabitants who calls themselves musicians because they're
\C2banging on thrash-cans or entreating an old tree-root,\C1 you might
have a chance to convince them that techno IS music and of
course..IT RULES!! But as soon as you get to more civilized
places, they think you're out of you're mind completely!\LF\LF

\C2Here's a techno-tune recipe: \LF\LF

\C11. Let's sample some crap Ronald Reagan said when he was a
president, or perhaps we should sample the Pope from Rome? Ok, it's done! (that was
our melody!) \LF\LF

2. Now, let's sample the drums from a album with a nice rhythm!
Maybe KLF have some real nice drum-patterns? Ok, now we have the basic drums! \LF\LF

3. Now, let's sample some chords. But ..we need only one
chord!!! It's normal to use only one chord in techno!
Ohh yes, that's true! Let's sample a Major from a dusty
old Abba record!\LF\LF

4. Ok, finally we need a bass! Yes, here is a disk with plenty
of mods! So?? Well, we can use the bass in each of the mods!
But, wouldn't that be lame? Nooo, we can cut them and boost
them at least 4-5 times, and nobody would recognize them at all!
Hmmmm, That's very smart! Ok, I hope that we have all our
ingredients:\LF\LF

\C2*\C1_Some crap Reagan told on a press-conference a couple of years ago\LF
\C2*\C1_A drum-rhythm from an album, preferably KLF\LF
\C2*\C1_One tiny chord from an old Abba record\LF
\C2*\C1_Some basses with 4-5 boosts (at least)\LF\LF
(It's just like the recipe Guybrush gets from the voodoo-lady!)\LF\LF

\C2Four parts, four channels!\C1 Well, I guess it's Protracker-time!!!
After 2-3 hours the tune is finished! And it sounds GREAT!!! It really
sounds like KLF! It's fun, and really easy too! You should try it some
time!\LF\LF

Techno is made by lazy people with little variation in their heads!
If a techno-maker out there have tried to\C2 CREATE, NOT DE-compose,\C1 a
module with a melody, I'm sure he knows that it's much easier making
a techno-tune! (Which doesn't surprise any musicians at all!) A techno
tune is basically the same from the beginning to the end! A normal
16-beat rhythm with some sentences from Reagan and the Pope! \C2Real
intelligent work!!!\LF\LF

\C1I hope that some of you techno-freaks out there are facing the facts that
there's no future in making techno. Each and every one of us can put
together some sentences, a bass-line, and loads of effects on an editor!
And what do you learn??? Perhaps that Reagan sounds much better with a
\C20-0-C arpeggio?\C1 I can't think of a more proper answer!\LF\LF

\F5\C3Lord Helmet:\LF\C1\LF

\F3Both of you are Great musicians. I like both Jogeir & Gins' modules. It's
very difficult to compare your modules with each other. It's the same
to \C2compare Mozart with Guns'n'Roses.\C1 Both are great, but in different ways.\LF\LF

\C2I don't think the right solution\C1 is to make a competition for Techno
modules and one for other modules. On Next party maybe a Rockabilly
song will win, and Jogeir will write to RAW and tell us how easy it
is to make these sort of tunes. On next party maybe a cheap disco
tune will win, and Jogeir will again write to RAW and tell us how
extremely easy it is to make it.\LF\LF

\C2Heatbeat have success with Regeea, Audiomonster with smokemusic, Nuke with Ballads, Moby with rock, Tip with Disco , Static with Techno
and Walkman with piano tunes.\LF\LF

\C3\BF\CTIt's possible to make it with most music styles!\XX
