If you haven't heard this song, I suggest that you get it!\LF\LF \C2\F5\CTTHE DRUMS\LF\F3\FU\LF \C3GIN:\LF \C1The drums have I sampled from different Techno cd's and mixed up them a little. They are in my opinion quite good programmed for the tune with enough changes so that they don't sound too monotonous.\LF\LF \C3JOGEIR LILJEDAHL:\LF \C1Standard drums for a techno-tune, and of course sampled with maximum volume so that the sample-datas are stretching outside the showing range of protracker's sample-menu. I guess this is a new style of making realistic drums. Gin came up with the idea that he could \C2re-sample the drums\C1 volume with 250 % (minimum) and of course you must add 3-4 boosts! I wasn't aware of this fascinating way of handling drum patterns. Anyway, I hope to hear more from you and your drums in the nearest future.\LF\LF \C2\F5\CTTHE MELODY\LF\F3\FU\LF \C3GIN:\LF \C1It fits in to the song and that is what it's all about. But I must say that I think that The tune is a little bit lame because of all those speach samples that are taken from diffrent Techno cd's, I think that it is a little to much of steeling such kinds of samples, so there for I now make at least \C290% of my speach samples my self.\C1 But in " Party-Time " they fit in real good. So there for I'm pleased with my mixing.I also think that it is very lame to use long samples sampled from cd's or records because then it isn't creating, it's Mixing with other peoples Tunes, and that is lame. Techno doesn't need any melody, it's too damn technically, right? Now, in front of me I have a dictionary. I'm looking up "music".... Putting out the basses on two channels is for me one of the most important thing when I make Techno music on Amiga because otherwise you won't get that heavy sound that it requires.I have sampled those basses from my synth, and I tried to make them as power- full as possible without destroying the samples and in my own oppinion I've succeded with this.\LF\LF \C3JOGEIR LILJEDAHL:\LF \C1Nothing much to say really!
