This first time we choosed Sauron / Static Bytes.  We picked him
out because of these nice works he has done:\LF\LF

\C2- 1.place in the gfx compo at Gathering __92.\LF

\C2- 2.place in the gfx compo at Hurricane __party.\LF

\C2- Some very neat graphics/design in the __Equinox demo " Hydrocephalus".\LF\LF

\C1All this in the year 1992.  We in RAW are sure that
Sauron/Static Bytes is a name to look out for in the future.\LF\LF

We hope this award will inspire those who get it, so we can see
even more work from them.\LF\LF

\F2\C3You have been awarded RAW'S "STAR TOMORROW" What do you think
about it?\LF\LF

\C2First of all I'm very grateful for it. It is the first attention I get
from any part of the scene, and as I'm not too active in the demo scene
I am also quite surprised! Thanks! It's a good idea, by the way!\LF\LF

\C3You have done it extremely well this year.  Have this success
motivated you to keep it going?\LF\LF

\C2Yes, very much indeed. After I won the compo at "The Gathering" I 
contacted the Danish company Interactvision as I suddenly got some
more faith in myself after the surprising placing.\LF\LF

\C3You quit Equinox and gave Static Bytes a go.  Is it because
you moved to Denmark, or?\LF\LF

\C2Yes, I had and still have good contact with the other members of Equinox
Norway.  But as I moved to Danmark I'd rather join a local group (although
I haven't had as much contact with the rest of STB as I'd like to)\LF\LF

\C3Static Bytes is the new authors of well known Eurochart.  Will
you do some graphics for the Eurochart?\LF\LF

\C2YUPS! I made the gfx for the Nov 92 editon. It was supposed to be used in
the the previous edition, but I fucked up the deadline.\LF\LF

\C3As many groups is of need of good graphicians/designers, you
will be nice target for the BIG groups.  What will you say if
Anarchy or Silents got in for you?\LF\LF

\C2Hrm, Well I have been asked by some groups (SCX, Andromeda and some others),
but none of them were located near Silkeborg and I got to know the guys
in STB quite good, So.... I'd still say No!\LF\LF

\C3You won the Gathering 92 Graphic competition with the picture
Beauty and the Best.  Do you think it's IMPOSSIBLE to win
graphics competitions without drawing a naked girl?\LF\LF

\C2No, But it's helps!!!!!!\LF\LF

\C3Iridon / Shining says that horses are impossible to draw decent,
do you agree?  Are there certain things you think is difficult
to draw?\LF\LF

\C2They are not impossible, just difficult. Forests seen at long distance
are difficult, I hate them!\LF\LF

\C3What is so fascinating by drawing pictures ?\LF\LF

\C2Being creative, and to see yourself improve!\LF\LF

\C3Who do you think is the most under-rated graphician in the scene?\LF\LF

\C2It's HOF. No doubt!\LF\LF

\C2Uno's 2nd place-picture for the compo at a Dexion X-mas party. A cute dragon

\C2J.O.E.'s TRSI logo. It's made of RED-HOT METAL and looks marvellous\LF\LF

\C3- How would you compare Facet/Anarchy vs.  Uno/Scoopex?\LF\LF

\C2Facet has a more personal style than Uno. Uno draws everything perfect. I
like Facet's style a bit better.\LF\LF

\C3We know you are drawing pictures for a company in Denmark.
Could you please tell us some of your projects.\LF\LF

\C2Mc-game for Psygnosis, Pinball for Infogrammes, Heli-sim + civ.sim 
from Infogrammes. After that in SAR-seach and rescue sim from 
Electronic Arts + other games.\LF\LF

\C3Do you think that you can improve your drawings even more?\LF\LF

\C2Of course. I know that if I could redraw my old drawings they would be
better. When you stop improving there is not much point in drawing 
anymore.\LF\LF

\C3Have you ever tried anything else than graphics?  (E.G.  coding
, music...)\LF\LF

\C2I have tried both coding and music, but no serious attempts. I did some
swapping until I realized that graphics was a lot funnier!\LF\LF
