Also  here  we  have  a guy who have
taken the whole table.  I am talking
about  Uno  of  Scoopex.  Nobody has
even  been  close to his popularity.
In  opposite to Tip who is only Best
liked  of  the  normal freaks not by
the  musicians.  Uno is also admired
of  all  graphicians  in  the  scene
(Read R.A.W.  issue 1)

This  year  we have seen some strong
newcomers like:

 Ê      Mithandir / Acme 
       Rack / Majic 12

JOE has also returned to the scene 
after a couple of years in silence.

Some  of  the  experienced  ones are
still going strong like:

 Ê        Mikeal Balle / Silents
         PGCS / Alcatraz
         Golem / Carillion

The  graphics have come a vital part
in  the best demos.  That means that
the graphicians will become more and
more important.  It's not just logos
ans  charset.   Today  you  have  to
include  graphics  in  your  demo to
make it be something.

In   1992  will  be  the  year  that
animations  and  raytracing  will be
used in most demos.

Those  who  get their graphic in the
best  demos of 1992 will be the most
popular.  That's life!

ÈShit,  What a revolution!!  The best
demo  of  1990  was Mental Hangover.
Look  at  the  best  demos  of 1991.
3000  %  better.   Just  amazing how
fast the progress has gone.  I think
Scoopex  slogan  " Lightyears ahead"
should be changed to 2 months ahead.
Because  today  Mental  Hangover  is
nothing.   But  Mental Hangover will
still  be  remembered  as  the first
"trackmo" ever made!  The credits in
plane  vector  is  copied  thousands
time by other.

The  1991  was the year of trackmos.
More work are laid behind the demos.
Before  you could code a very decent
demos  in  one month.  Today it take
about  4-5  month  to develop a good
one.

Because  of the hard work the coders
want  to  earn  some  money on their
produtions.    Nowadays   prices  on
copyparties    are    quite    high.
Actually  all the best demos of 1991
was released on parties.

ÈI don't think the demos will develop
so  fast  as they have done the last
year.    If   so  we  will  se  some
eXtremly  good  demos  in  1992.   I
think  1992 best demos will hold the
same  standard  as  Hardwired.  More
and  more  demos  will  only work on
1meg, because 75 % got this now.

The  coders  come  and  go.  In 1990
these were the best coders:


ÊSlayer, Delta, Tec, Promax, Kreator,
Metallica,   Sulky  Fellow  and  Mr.
Gurk

Very few of these coders did release
something in 1991..

But new coders come and replaced the
old  ones.   Hope we not miss the 10
best coders each year.

In   1991   there  has  been  a  HOT
discussion   about   underrated  and
overrated   coders.    Here  is  the

continue  making  more demos.  But I
think  someone  will find it to Time
consuming  to  code  demos  and will
leave  the  scene.   As told earlier
coding good demos TAKE time.
