 ÉÌ   WHY GERMAN ARTICLES STINKS

How  many times have you loaded your
newest   newspaper   and   to   your
irritation  found  that  some of the
articles  were  written  in German ?
Well,  I  know  I've been pissed off
many times by this idiotic thing.

And every time I ask myself :  ÊWhy ?
ÈIs  it  because  Germans  are bad in
English  ?   Or  are  the contest of
these  articles  only  for Germans ?
Or   is   it  just  to  irritate  us
"Ênon-GermansÈ" ?

Well,  it's  hard  to  know.  It's a
fact  that  the English-knowledge of
Germans    and    Frenchs   are   in
comparison    with,   for   example,
Norwegians  and  Swedes, lower.  But
they  can't  be that bad É(never say
never ed.)È

The  German  TV-stations  dubbes all
English  speaking  films and series.
This  will of course not improve the
English  capabilities.   But I don't
think  that  is  the  reason for the
German   Articles.   I  guess  there
exists  German-English dictionaries,
so   a  translation  should  be  ÉNO
Èproblem.   The reason for the bunch
of  German articles are that Germans
is  so  fucking  Éproud  È  of their
language.    Some   of  the  Germans
refuse  to  talk something else than
German  Ê(even if they can English).
ÈHere  is an example:  Ê A norwegian
bus   with   musicians  crossed  the
border   from  Denmark  to  Germany.
Some  German guards came to check if
the  papers is OK!.  The tour leader
started  to  talk  English  with the
guards,   but   they  won't  listen.
Luckily  there  was  one  who  could
speak   German   in   the   bus  and
everything    was   settled   within
seconds.È

I  guess  it's  not  only  here  the
German speaking tourists gets better
treatment.  It's probably everywhere
in   Germany!   Talking  English  in
Germany is a big handicap.

I  think  that  the  Germans  should
accept  that  it is English which is
the  most common language and should
therefore  learn that language quite
well.   I think the young generation
should  go  in  front and begin with
writing all articles in English.

Anyway,  ÊRAWÈ  have  made  it!   We
managed  what  other  magazines like
ÊZine, Hackmag, CJ, Mc disc, CJ, ICE
Èand  the  rest of the bunch did not
manage.   Namely write articles only
in  English..   We  hope  the  other
follows  us in this!  É No copyright
