Proposed Usenet group: alt.ham-radio.amiga
Paul G4DCV is proposing the formation of a new Internet Usenet group: alt.ham-radio.amiga
The process involves an intitial proposal and subsequent discussion in the Usenet group alt.config. If there is general agreement that the proposed group is a good idea then a newgroup control message can be issued to start the group.
For a new Usenet group proposal to suceed one of the most important things will be to convince news administrators that there will be sufficient traffic to warrant it being carried.
If you like the idea of alt.ham-radio.amiga PLEASE send emails of support to G4DCV at: pwhatton@enterprise.net
Without sufficient evidence of support the proposal is unlikely to suceed.
If you have experience of starting a Usenet group or you are a news administrator who may be able to help please email G4DCV urgently!
