Right then 7plus parts & errors. Lets assume that you have downloaded the 3 files called Test.Part1, 2 and 3 First of all they MUST be renamed to the following, exactly as written!! Test.p01 Test.p02 Test.p03 (etc) These must be in the same directory as the 7Plus prog. You then run the 7Plus prog using the following command:-- 7plus test If all goes well you will have the prompt "Encoding complete" failing that it will come up with an "Error" prompt. If you get the error prompt then all is not lost. All it means is that 'Some' of the file is missing, NOT all of it. All you have to do is supply the missing bit (or bit's) and join them back together again. If you look at the "Test.err" (Test.error) file it will look something like the following after the "Go 7PLUS and the file name" 7PLUS error report: 036 9965 01 024 FFF 02 022 FFF 03 024 FFF [1D917EA4] 00 CRC 9FA4 stop_text. What you do is then send this '.err' file to the person who sent the original 7plus files to you. He will then run the original 'Test' prog with the '.err' file to obtain the missing bit for you. This file will be called "Test.cor" (Test.correction!) When you receive this file (In 7Plus format of course!!!!) just put it in the same place as the other 'Test.something' files and then run the 7plus prog again using the following command:-- 7plus test.cor This should then decode the 3 TEST files and the TEST.cor file and then join them together once again. This may seem a little long winded but if the original 7plus prog is in 20 x 5K parts, which is easier to send again? 1 ".cor" file or 100K of info??? If you think of the 7plus parts as a jigsaw and there is a piece missing all you need to do is obtain the missing piece and not the rest of the original bits to fill in the gap(s).
