If a listed title has more than one number, then it then it means that that particular title is on more than one disk, i.e, a title with 2 or more numbers is on 2 or more disks and costs the price of 2 or more disks etc. The software on some utility disks may require a knowledge of CLI/AmigaDOS/Shell, and some require a knowledge of programming etc. Codes after a disk title tell you what machine they run on eg: * = 1mb A500; + = A500+/A600; Y = A1200. Any title marked with "ECS" requires you to switch back to ECS, NO CACHE from the "Early Startup Control Menu" of the A1200. We recommend utility disk, QU968, it contains programs to emulate older machines and get more groovy stuff running! We have tested some titles useing QU968. Disks marked with additional codes mean the following: K = runs under Relokick 1.3/1.4; FF = runs under fake mem. After "PD450" we droped A500 compatibility, althoe some may still work on the A500 after this we don't test them nowdays. * = 1mb A500 + = A500+/A600 Y = A1200 ============================================================================= DEMOS ============================================================================= PD 000 ALPHA FLIGHT:BLITTER MADNESS * =================================== The one of the most dusty old disks in the collection, but it still works! This one is a bit short and you will get board in no time at all, however it's a classic, so it's staying in the library anyway! PD 001 PROBE DEMO ================= Perhaps one of the most popular discs ever to be placed in the publicdomain (or so I am told anyway)! This shows an imaginary sequence recorded from a space craft as it journeys into an uncharted region and onto a strange planet where there have been reports of life. An entertaining and interesting use of digitized black & white graphics, created with The Director. There is no sound to this one, but then again there dosent need to be, the silence makes the demo that bit more weird, spooky, eerie and haunting, good! 1987. PD002 SODAN & MAGICIAN 42:TECH TECH MEGADEMO * [K1.2] ============================================ On the 17/11/1987 this demo changed the way of things to come! The "TECH TECH MEGADEMO" amazed many people with effects never thaught to be possible on a computer. This was probably the 1st megademo on the Amiga, it is certanly one of our oldest! Some say "TECH TECH" was responsable for a big change in the scene. More than a little outdated, but is no doubt the most classic demo in our library! This demo was originaly designed to work on KS1.2 machines and sadly the loader fails on KS1.3 or above (most A500's are KS1.3). PD002B TECH TECH MEGADEMO (!NOW WORKS A500-A4000!) * + Y ========================= On the 17/11/1987 this demo changed the way of things to come! This demo was originaly designed to work on KS1.2 machines and sadly the original loader fails on KS1.3 or above (most A500's are KS1.3). Until now this demo has remained pretty much an obsolete one. Now however, thanks to a good few bug fixes this demo works on all machines pretty much with no problems (BUGS FIXED 1995). PD003 ANITRAX:2070 ANITRAX MEGA DEMO * ==================================== Well what can I say this demo does have a some nice grapics and ideas but as with most 1988 demos the music is not to hot! I particually like the bit where the dragon spews up on the logo! PD004 DROLT DEMO * [K1.2] ================ Strange concoction of graphics, sound and music mix in this totally zany demo. Well weird! Wont work on issue 1.3 machines, you aint missing much! PD005 FASHION:FASHIONATING * + ========================== A megademo that turns your Amiga into a C64 for a little while! Great graphics and even better sound combine in this great megademo. Brilliant music, good use of samples too. 4parts! PD006 VORTEX 42:MEGADEMO ======================== Classic megademo again here. This one has all the usual flash graphics and classic effects, one of the better oldies to have come my way. As you will probably notice when you read the texts this demo was the 1st to have scroll text and music in the loader. PD007 IAN `n' MIC:MEGADEMO * + Y ========================== A classic and almost famous mega demo, shame about the crapy 1988 style digitised music! Featyres 8 parts of nice graphics and a great dancing man on the gents door! PD008 NORTHSTAR & FAIRLIGHT:NORTHSTAR MEGADEMO II ================================================= Old and technically good for the time of it's release (some time back in 1988). Features a nice colourfull starfield effect, a really nice bit of music in the 2nd part, good graphics and a nice spiral scrolly, good! PD009 TIT-FACTORIES & TECHNO-FORCE:TECHNOFORCE MEGADEMO * (512K) ======================================================= 4 cool demos, includeing a rather morbid one wher you soot sholdiers heads off and stuff with the mouse! The other demos are all realy good to but not so morbid! This is good if you have a morbid scence of huemor (just like me). One of the parts is actualy a shootemup. Note the clever effect with the power LED on re-boot. PD010 WILD COPPER:MEGALO MEGA DEMO * ================================== The classic old joke filled wild copper demo! This demo has a sine scroller over the workbench and a loader that runs from the snassy old workbench 1.3! Features some great effects, a nice intro to the demo and a silly hidden part, classic! PD011 JCS:MEGADEMO * ================== On the crappy little C64, JCS has made some real cool music in the past. Now on the AMIGA, JCS in the year of 1988 has coded an AMIGA demo. There's some cool chip music, some really nice graphical effects (some of which use a hires mode) and there's a lot of fun jokes too! PD012 TRIANGLE:BOMBUZAL/GIGA MEGA DEMO 1 * + Y ======================================== Most parts of this demo will work on any Amiga. however the 5th part plays up on KS1.3 and above (probably O.K. on KS1.2/KS1.1). With the exception of the little incompatability problems of this demo, I still like it as it features some really great graphics and music, this is certainly Worth a look at! PD013 RSI/DEFJAM DEMO * (!NOW WITHOUT ERRORS IN A PD LIBRARY NEAR YOU!) ===================== Nice set of demos by RSI/DEFJAM featuring some very good effects and excellent Soundtracker music. Quite a few parts to each bit and the last bit (when it eventually appears!) features some very nice effects but unfortunatly this bit doesnt work with 1.3 machines. The disk had a few read/write errors but with a little QPD skill and disk salvage work, you can now get the rest of the demo to work (the original library disk had a silly picture on the front of it with a silly smily face and tits drawn on it too! Other than that there is no diferance to this and the master disk, but as we don't suply you with the originals who gives a shit?)! PD014 IPEC ELETE:MEGADEMO * + Y ========================= Some excellent hand drawn graphics and also a built in game! Classic old megademo! PD015 DEXION MEGADEMO * + Y ===================== One of the better mega demos featuring some great music and some excellent effects. Loads of parts to this demo featureing some insane loading music. Great supermarket music near the end too (tehehe)! The crash ending that often happens to this demo is pretty much normal on anything above 1.3 (not that you'll be missing much, just the supermarket music stuff!). PD016 MICROMIX * ============== Those of you who saw or heard the St version can now relax as its here on the Amiga. Microdeal say its been done with AMOS but we know different as it's the exact same samples as the ST. Tut tut the first ported demo!! PD017 PD018 NORTHSTAR III * =================== Northstar/Fairlight Mega Demo III... and with 19parts it certainly is mega with loadsagraphics, vectors, music and effects spread over two discs. Something for everyone and there is some really nice music as well as ray- traced graphics at the end.The first disc will work ok by itself. PD019 IT:MEGADEMO * + Y (better on KS1.2) ================= A nice mega demo by IT, classically old effects with good music from gladiator. The acid part to this messes up on most of my Amigas (OK on KS1.2 machines with only 512K if you have one). This one consists of 6 parts of mayhem, music and marvellous graphics. PD020 PD021 DEATHSTAR:MEGADEMO * ======================== This classy clasic "12 part" mega demo, is one more of my personal favourates! Good graphis, clasic effects and good music, tunning opening sequence, it is also the 1st demo to have a buit in disk mag as far as I am aware.... PD022 ROBOCOP * + ============= Robocop Demo by Jolyon Myers. Very nice Robocop music including sampled excerpts from the film (some are a little naughty so caution is advised) include some of Jolyons nice artwork too! More of a music disk I surpose. So like, err, why is it in here I hear you ask? I duno, I didn't put it in here! PD023 ALCATRAZ:MEGADEMO II ========================== This is the old 1988 megademo 2 from Alcatraz. I can't get hold of Mega 1 any where! So if you have a copy of Mega Demo 1 let me know! Anyhow this demo is rather old now and will not run 100% on KS1.3 machines and above, so you might have to edit the startup-sequence, wich should get the demo to run a little better. PD024 ALCATRAZ MEGADEMO 3 * ========================= Very nice mega-demo by Alcatraz, features 7 parts of very good (sometimes excellent) effects, music etc including a great version of the Space Harrier title music by Fred Hahn. PD025 TRIANGLE:GIGA MEGA DEMO II * K ================================ Very much an excellent demo (better on KS1.2)! PD026 TRIANGLE:GIGA MEGA DEMO III * FF ================================= A vast improvement from the 1st giga demo, now the demo runs from beginning to end with on problems on 1.3 too. 8 parts to this demo with some good graphics and music! PD027 MAD MONKS:MEGADEMO * ======================== One of the funnyest demos at the time of it's release in 1989. The 1st part has some great digitized music. The rest of the demo is equaly as good with it's great bob demo part, and also good anti Atari song (that made us laugh) with the sound of people throwing up to the beat!!! But it's not for people with weak stomachs... as digitised retching sounds might not be up their street... well dont say we didnt warn you... PD028 CRYPTOBURNERS * =================== Cryptoburners mega-demo consisting of 5 parts of music, graphics and effects but it wont run on issue 1.3 machines. Sunrise, Splashing Bubbles, Snadder Demo, Into The Unknown, End-demo. Nice music etc. PD029 IT VECTOR DEMO * ==================== A nice demo disc by IT, a sick-intro (with a strange guy hitting a few chickens) leads to a very nice vector/scroll demo with 7 pieces of music (selectable via the function keys) all done by Walkman, and its very good. PD030 THE LINK:MEGADEMO * + Y ECS ======================= Loads of jokes to this demo, and the naked chick ain't bad either! Sorry but you will have to skip the naked chick bit on the 1200 if you want to see the rest of the disk, still good anyhow! . PD031 QUADLITE:JUKEBOX 64 DEMO ============================== C64 music demos and a nice loader + several other great Amiga demos! PD032 PHENOMENA:FIRST MEGADEMO * + Y ============================== This demo has a unique loader, with a sinus scrolly over the workbench boot up hand! The demo has loads of parts to it. As the Bob-War continues, this has the most so-far! Another old classic, thank heavens they have improved since this one! PD033 OUTSIDERS DEMO * + (disk missing) ==================== The Outsider demo featuring some nice music and a very nice sculpt 3D animation on the first part. PD034 PIRANHAS:PIRANHA DEMO * =========================== Click on various objects in the Piranha HQ but leave the fish tank until last! Clicking on the fish tank will reval a brilliant demo like the scene from Monty Pythons Meaning of Life.. All in all this is quite a funny demo! PD035 SCOOPEX:MEGADEMO * + ====================== The SAE/SCX Mega-Demo, contains some very clever effects, nice music and nice graphics. Some of the language used is a bit dodgy so you have been warned! About 6 parts. Perhaps not the best demo ever, But this megademo was conciderd to be great a at the time. Features a nice logo, some great tunes (not including the "ACIIIEEED" that is)! One of the scrollys might be relevent if you knew the spectrum (you know that thing with the rubber keyboard and naff graphics, I had one with 128k BIG WOW). Another great scrolly featured, is the interactive sine scrolly. All in all a demo with a nice logo and a funny scrolly about Sinclair, good clasic! PD036 VISION MEGA DEMO * ====================== Very good use of colour, great music, neat effects what more can we say! Contains 7 parts or so... PD037 VORTEX 42 MEGADEMO 2 ========================== A superb mega demo from 1988, old but good! Vortex 42 Megademo II. Very good demo composed of many parts featuring some very nice graphics, excellent music and good effects! Unfortunatly it wont work on Issue 1.3 machines though. PD038 LEVEL 1 AND DREAM * ======================= Mega Demo by Level 1 and The Dream Team. Composed of 5 main parts featuring the usual blend of soundtrackered music, samples and graphic effects. PD039 DOC DEMO #1 ================= A fairly short yet cool demo with nice music and some superb graphics, way ahead of its time! PD040 MEGA FORCE:MEGAFORCE MEGA DEMO * ==================================== One of the old classics this one! Loads of nice copper rasters to this mega demo. There is also a nice clone of the light cycles game (enspired by the film TRON), good! PD041 IT:CELEBRATION * K ==================== Quite an old demo but I must say it truly is a classic. I love it and I hope you will too! PD042 PD043 RED SECTOR:MEGADEMO * ====================== This A500 demo is getting a bit dusty now, still good though if you haven't already got it. There is a great vector ball animation to this demo, one of my all time favourite A500 demos! PD044 VISIT MERSEYSIDE * + ====================== A Merseyside Tourist Board advertisement??!! PD045 MILLER LIGHT ADVERTISEMENT * + ================================ Silly Sampled advert for that crapy beer. Quite funny! PD046 SAFE SEX DEMO * + =================== A bit silly, but will probably squeez at least a few laughs out of you! Samples make up this disk. PD047 HOLSTEN PILS AD * + ===================== Silly Sampled advert for another crapy beer. Quite funny! PD048 HCC:ARSEWIPE/TOILET PAPER AD * ================================== Toilet paper advertisement. Advertising arsewipe an exiting new product! very very funny, and a bit rude too! PD049 PD050 RAF:MEGADEMO * ================== The Royal Amiga Force Megademo. Coming on 2 disks this megademo is a real treat as your gran would say. 9 Parts in all including a Coke advert, a nice Ghostbusters II partn anim, A nice 3D Demo, some vectors and there's even a Commercial Break! Great Graphics and Music a go-go in one of the best demos since the RSI megademo... PD051 PUGGS IN SPACE * K ==================== One of the best selling disks (so I am told) to have ever been made for the Amiga. The demo basicaly has this cute little indestuctible alien charicter walking along the street and generally getting into trouble. See him fall from his ship, get run over, get crushed by a falling helicopter and dance to Michael Jacko... The little charicter "Pugs", later enspired the idea for the more recent comercial game "Pugsy" that was released some time around 1993/1994, good! PD052 HARDCRACK DEMO * ==================== The HARDCRACK graphic demo show. Brilliant demo disk from these Swedish coders. 6 Parts featuring some pretty neat graphical effects and mega musak! PD053 SCIENCE 451 DEMO * ====================== Science 451 Megademo. Another collection of great demos joined together to fill the disk, this time courtesy of Science 451 crew.6 parts full of decent graphics, music and scrollers. PD054 STARLINE DEMO * =================== More amazing graphics and music in this 9 part megademo.Includes a Sachs piccy of the Amiga`s internals and some nice IFF-Manipulation in the 7th part. PD055 OUTSIDERS ACID! ===================== 3 demos coupled with some great Aciiieed type music, 2nd part features a freaky dancing man! Good stuff for all fans of this genre of music. PD056 DEXION MEGADEMO 2 * + ======================= AT LAST the follow up to disk 271/PD015 arrives, another megademo to thrill and amaze!! Included on this disk are more examples of Amiga programming at it's best; Elastic Scroll Bounzing Ball Spin Dizzy Star Wars Green Scroll All parts feature brilliant effects, graphics and music. PD057 DEMONS MEGADEMO ===================== Good first megademo from the French outfit.Several parts that include various graphical/musical effects and there is also a different style of shoot-em-up, where you have to blast the zits of the poor adolescents face!!Another good disk for all you demo collectors out there! PD058 VISION MEGADEMO IV ======================== Another masterpiece of Amiga Programming from the guys in Vision.5 Parts including some great scrolling, equalisers (including a mans turning head from a recent Norman Cook video![We Think]), graphics and music. PD059 PD060 PREDATORS MEGADEMO * + ======================== An absolutely brilliant 2 disk megademo from these Australian coders. Features 11 original demos, all linked together, and backed by some great music!! Part 1 Glass Bobs, Part 2 Three Dee, excellent 3d Objects spinning around, VERY IMPRESSIVE some of the fastest 3D vectors ever seen! Part 3 Sinestars, sinus scrolling starfield, Part 4, A Good Tron style light Cycle game, Part 5 Bouncing Balls, SuperScroll & Groovy Musak! Part 6 Features a bouncing blue ball, and some very impressive spinning cubical bobs! Part 7 allows you to design your own graphics and then see them spinning around, Part 8 is a Beast Rip-off "Bones Goes Home" shows a cutesy skeleton travelling along a parralax scrolling background, Part 9 is another playable game this time a version of Combat, the classic cartridge game of eons ago!A two player strategical shoot-em-up with bouncing bullets!Part 10 has various scrolly effects and includes some sprites ripped from Xenon2.The last part has some great scrolly lines & Mega musak!! PD061 VOX DEI MEGADEMO ====================== Has some old acid and house music parts. Despite the rather old music of this demo there is some more normal stuff too! Despite the crapy music that pops up form time to time throut this demo, I still think this is a great demo and worth a look at! You will need to use the right mouse button in stead of the left to skip to the next part (very weird)! Classic! PD062 DUAL CREW MEGADEMO ---------------------- Another fine collection of demos! on here we have a Weird Psychadelic Colour cycling freak out demo, An original 3D scroller and equaliser, Nice Dotmania. A very good disk, 7 parts in total. Track 3 does not have a read write error it's just the programmers having fun, not a bad little mega demo realy! PD063 REBELS:MEGA COMPETITION/MEGA DEMO #1 * + Y ========================================== Fantastic graphics to this demo, there is also a great loader. However the best part has to be the SUBWAY demo with its dancing skyscrapers etc. Classic! PD064 REBELS:MEGADEMO II * + Y ECS ======================== Forget the naf VU thingys that appear in demos etc. Check out the head banger VUs in this demo (digitized colour animations for VU meters, that head bang to the music)! Other than that this demo is nothing new. 7 Demos from Rebels, another high quality demo disk! PD065 UNIQUE:UNIVERSAL PICTURES PART 1+2 * ? ======================================== Both universal pictures demo 1 and demo 2. These two demos are both classics that where made to show off the vector capabilities of the Amiga, part two being the faster and better of the two demos, very good for the time of its release! PD066 SCOOPEX:MENTAL HANGOVER * + Y ECS ============================= An absolutely BRILLIANT demo disk featuring some beautiful graphics, music, bobs, vectors, scrolling etc. This reaaly is one of the best Amiga demos ever, beats Red Sector, and sets the standard for others to meet... People should be warned .. that "F" wordthat I'm not allowed to say is included on screen so 9 year olds or their parents should stay away! PD067 DARKNESS:MEGADEMO 1 ========================= A nice megademo containing various parts which are accessed by moving a helicopter round with your stick! As usual you can find loads of nice graphics and sound aswell as some new original ideas! PD068 WARFALCONS:PURPLE MEGADEMO * + ================================ Very reminiscent of the SCOOPEX Mental Hangover, but in my opinion takes it a stage further. Features the most beautiful filled vectors I've ever seen (also the largest), all accompanied by some superb music, watch and die. PD069 PD070 GIANTS:MEGADEMO #1 ======================== Yet another 2 disk mega demo very similar to most other 2 diskers but still quite good, features 14 parts in all. PD071 CRIONICS:MEGADEMO ======================= Nice demo featuring a nice Madonna anim. The 1st part goes a bit weird on 1.3 and above, probably OK on KS1.2 A500s most of the demo works fine on my A1200. Only 3 parts but still superb, well worth your money for the last Maddona part which is very novel and original, an esential disk for all demo collectors PD072 PD073 BUDBRAIN:MEGADEMO * + ======================= The BudBrain Demo, One of the best demo disk for a long time, not in a programming sense, but for the original ideas, and great graphics. The demo starts off with a nice set of pretty spinning patterns. Throughout the demo there are is a rather funny, yet morbid 3 part Burglary Movie animation, A rather silly SQUEEZE animation and a thumping Acid track/Video called KAOS (Better than COMA!!). Disk two contains some more funny anims and some X-rated cartoons (TEHEHE!). This demo is a totally brilliant classic! PD074 DISORDER:MEGADEMO ======================= Several parts featuring the usual array of bobs, vectors, scrollies, music etc. Quite a good disk. PD075 MIRAGE:PRIME 90 ===================== Very Nice. This demo incorporates solid vectors, bobs and lines (normal vectors) on the same objects, the effect is stunning, not only that, you can move them around the screen as well using the mouse! PD076 INTUITION MEGADEMO ======================== Another megademo, this ones by Intuition and features a multi-scrapper routine that doesn't use the blitter. I know it's hard to believe but who cares because it's good, by god is it good. The other parts of the demo have been presented well also. The musak is breathtaking and atmospheric. PD077 DEXION:FREDDY THE DEMO ============================ This demo is based around Freddy Kruger, from Nightmare on Elm Street, remember now, of course you do. Anyway, good graphics good sound, can't think of anything else, that'll have to do. PD078 CRIONICS:NEVERWHERE ========================= Yet another megademo from Crionics this one probably being their best to date. The rotating pyramid counting down to the start of the demo is excellent, and thankfully the rest of the demo lives up to the start. Briliiant. Good graphics routines, will appeal to Madonna fans! PD079 PD080 STAR WARS =============== Fans of Star Wars will love this, a trailer length version of the film in digitised graphics and sound. Excellent. PD081 GOLDFIRE MEGADEMO * + ======================= It certainly makes a change to see an English group being mentioned namely Goldfire, as this is their first megademo it is quite good, the music is a different matter as it is superb, with a sort of remix of one of Adamskis' tracks, I think it was Space Jungle. PD082 PD083 LIGHT CYCLES * ================== Remember Tron the film, well if you enjoyed the film, then get this demo as it is equally as good. PD084 SILENTS:X-COPY MEGADEMO * K ============================= This demo has an X-COPY screen in loader. I do wish these pirates would shutup about X-FLOPPIE or what ever they call it! It only copies disks as good as the PD copiers in our library! Anyway a this is quite a good demo! PD085 PD086 PD087 ALCATRAZ:MEGADEMO VI/DEVILS KEY * ===================================== This fantastic demo has some brilliant parts to it. This was one of the 1st mega demos to have a vector ball animation, the name of the vector ball animation was called "Space Balls" (Yes it is posible that the famous group called "SPACEBALLS" stole the name!). The mad butcher and mars mutation parts are also very cool and are certanly something to look out for! PD088 DRAGONS MEGADEMO 1 * ======================== This is one of the best Megademos I have, there are some great parts to this megademo! Very good copper raster effects, scrollys, graphics and music. The "Unlimited Bobs" part (featured in this demo) is truly amazing, it draws a simple vector bob sinus pattern then continualy adds one more bob to the pattern until there are thousands or bobs on the screen, it just goes on and on drawring bobs into infinity almost! I once left this thing running with 558000 or so bobs on one screen and it was still adding more! There's also a hidden bit on reset to boost! Recommend demo, especially to those who like bob filled demos! When this demo was released it broke new ground in the demo scene and ended the so called "BOB WAR" of 1989/1990. All in all a bloody good demo disk!! PD089 RED SECTOR:CEBIT '90 DEMO * + =============================== Good demo "Revenge of Babbnassen". Not at all bad demo this one! PD090 PD091 POWER SLAVES:MEGADEMO * + Y =========================== A classic and funny demo. Some amazing scrolly effects and the graphics. The greetings part in this demo is a true master piece! PD092 ACME MEGADEMO * =================== Good first megademo for the Acme mob, quite interesting reading all about their sex lives, honest! PD093 CULT MEGADEMO 2 * ===================== Another excellent megademo from the guys at Cult, very good filled vector routines and a funny advert on why not to drink and drive. PD094 PD095 FLASH:NO PAIN NO GAIN * + =========================== Another very good 2 disk megademo featuring some outstanding music as well as some excellent effects. PD096 ANARCHY:SYSTEM VIOLATION * ============================== Another awesome effort by the very talented Anarchy group. Superb. PD097 ROBOCOP DEMO * + ================== Digitised from the film, the clips are taken where the ED209 is introduced to Mr Kinney with unfortunate results, very well done with digitised sound also taken from the film. To put it bluntly this is an animation of that realy sick scene from the film where that guy gets shot to bits, yuck! Dont ask me why its in with our demos library and not with the other anims, don't blame me I didn't put this one in the library! Good demo anyway! PD098 PHENOMENA:ENIGMA * + ====================== To start the demo there is a rather nice stencill vector, containing rotateing vectors in all 6 faces! The demo then moves on to a world of virtual 3D wher anyting can happern, and beleve me it does happern! This 3D stuff is followed by a few record breaking sphears and vectors. The last efect to this demo has a raytraced fractal animation (noting new, but looks nice)! PD099 REAL TIME FRACTALS * ======================== Pheonix have produce some good demos in the past, and I'm glad to say that that tradition has not been broken. This demo features real time fractals and an excellent piece of music. PD100 PHENOMENA:INTERSPACE * ========================== This demo has all the making of a brilliant demo, great graphics and an even better soundtrack that could only be described with two words, eerie and haunting. Great stuff. This demo is about being lost in space. We start this demo with an awesome pice of graphcs and animation, wich merges into a world of lost in space 3D! A particually good part of this 3D stuff, has you inside a spaceship looking out at the other crafs! Some joaks and stuff to this demo too, good! PD101 SPIRIT OF NONSENSE * + ======================== This demo has two parts to it, the first one being a rotating cube that does a lot of different shape changing, and the second part is basically the same idea, but with different objects rotating. The musi is very good and is well worth the money. PD102 WIZZCAT:TRASHCAN * ====================== This is a fine demo, the main attraction to it is the final part in which there is a scrolly message with which you can mess about, moving it all over the screen. PD103 UPFRONT:COOL FRIDGE * ========================= This is a brilliant multi part mega demo with some brilliant effects through out the various parts! The Smooth Copper and RGB Plasma parts show some very interesting plasmas from a coders point of view, and nice to look at from a non-coders point of view! For most of the demo parts the music is also very good too. All in all this is a brilliant demo with lots off nice effects, Another great megademo! There are 7 different parts altogether. good eh! PD104 BASS MEGADEMO II * ====================== A briliant megademo, very colourfull + the usual routines, and some really great music! PD105 ABSENCE:VIOLATOR * + ====================== Absence are back on the scene again with this new disk, some very good filled vectors and also a great soundtrack. PD106 ACCESSION:SUNWIND DEMO * + ============================ An absolutely superbly presented demo featuring some great music, a disk that you must simply have. PD107 KEFRENS:THE WALL * ====================== Nice intro brings you to the main part which is occupied by filled vector routines. PD108 BRAIN STORM:METAL DEMO * + Y ============================ Mini mega demo in 1 DOS file! Nice star effects, bobs, graphics and great music, but a little bit short of beeing a long demo. PD109 REBELS:VECTORY 1990 * ========================= Not a bad little vector/vector bob demo! Great effects and music to this one, it's probably one of the best vector bob demos on the A500! PD110 SILENTS:BLUE HOUSE * + ======================== Thank heaverns they have done better than this one! Enougth said. PD111 FRAXION:REVENGE * + ===================== Guite good fun to wach this one, features a rather grusem seens of some guy getting an axe in the head, shot, chain sawed in half etc. Sort of a 101 ways guide to kill some guy, sort of thing! Good if you like this sort of thing, but not realy one for the kids, you've been warned. Now get this demo and have a good laugh at it, we did! PD112 XLNS & ABSENCE:MELTDOWN * + ? ============================= Nothing to special about this demo, but it does feature some unique effects, as well as the usual selection of nice effects and music. The demo features a unique colour cycling effect that is shown on various shapes and patterns through out the demo, I rather like the unique sinus scrolly effect in this demo! good! PD113 QUARTEX:SUBSTANCE * + Y ======================= All the best vectors seem to be featured in this demo! Basically this demo starts off in a sort of vector text credits thingy! After the text vector stuff, some bubbles, a fractal, and a some what "boering" selection of vector objects, you will then enter the best part of this demo! The good bit that I'm talking about, concists of a handfull of "probably" some of the best 3D effects on the Amiga! In the end part of this there is a "user controlled" 3D landscape (I particually like that bit)! The text vector thingys in this demo seem to mess up on the A1200, but haveing said that when they do mess up they actually look very nice in a weird sort of way! 1st place Winner of the sumit party 1991! PD114 PD115 KGB:HIT FIDO * + Y ================== Yet another demo to have a test pattern in it!?!? A must for anybody with an Amiga. The plasma is <> and so are the vectors. It features a good metal style tune! Features a nice rendered animation, good! Most of the demo works on the 1200, nearly all of it on the 500+/600, all of it with no problemson the A500. 3rd place Winner of the sumit party 1991, althoe a close 2nd! PD117 - PD122 (6 DISKS) SPLIT DIMENSION:PINK FLOYD THE WALL * + K (K1.3 or Relokick Recomended) =================================== _ _ ___ (2 drives needed)_ |_| |_ | | | ( |¯\ | INK | LOYD |HE |/\|ALL <<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>> THE ONLY A500 DEMO EVER (AS YET) TO SPREAD OVER A TOTAL OF 6 DISKS the last disk crashes on the 1200/500+, Use the relokick emulator to get round this because the last part contains some realy great stuff! Short but cool! PD131 CASCADE MEGADEMO #2 ========================= At the start you are presented with a puzzle to find the location of Cascade's H.Q. After getting past the initial stages of this demo, you will begin to enjoy it tremendously, everything about it is pure class. PD132 DOC DEMO #2 ================= This is the follow up to DOC's first demo, another very good example of how to manipulate vectors. PD133 SYMBIOSIS MEGADEMO * + ======================== Another excellent effort from the guys at Symbiosis, this plays the theme tune form `Top Gun', altogether a very nice demo. I reckon the guys at 17BIT must have liked this one as it said on the front in brackets like this:(VERY VERY GOOD)! Features some good typeography and great sine wave creations, the music is absorbing and sounds quite like Tim and Mike Follin. The shaded 3D vectors are not new but utilise dark to light shading that imitates ray tracing.
