IMPORTANT NEWS -------------- On the last volume (Wordworth PD 1.1) I mentioned that I was writing a book called "Making the Most of Wordworth" - the message is below. I can exclusively reveal that I am writing a book on Wordworth. The book is called Making the Most of Wordworth, and will be published by Bookmark Publishing. It will be available in the summer. They will include your details on their database, and you will receive the leaflet when it is ready. I am sad to announce that the book has now been cancelled. Unfortunately, I did not have the time to work on the book properly. By the time I would have finished the book, it would have been too late - early 1997. It is a shame as there was so much to write about, but Bookmark Publishing could not risk a late release and I could not risk my education. After all, my Degree is a long term prospect. I would like to thank Jeff Walker for approaching me about writing the book. The good news is that I will release some of the information on future volumes of Wordworth PD. By working on Wordworth PD, I can set my own deadlines, stop to concentrate on my College work AND not make any promises, unlike on the book. I also mentioned that this volume, Wordworth PD 1.2, would be a brand new release, containing many macros to create Advanced Amiga Guide documents. Active Software have still not sent me the commands, but this is not to disappointing. I expect that the market will be small for these macros when AAG is eventually released. But just wait until you see Wordworth PD 2. Wordworth PD 2 -------------- This is going to be a brand new volume. Highlights include: * 40+ New ARexx macros and Wizards - Create bar graphs, Move elements, Batch convert files, Print selected files, etc. * Comprehensive Mail Merge Tutorial - How to use mail merge to address single people so you never need to type an address in your letters again, create disk labels, conditional commands, etc. * How to create watermarks * Printing explained - How to achieve BACKGROUND PRINTING on all versions from 3 and 3.1SE onwards * 10+ New Templates * How to create an Image Book and what is an Image Book? and much, much more, including a new structure to the disk and top tips to many sections. I have already started writing around 40 more ARexx macros and Wizards, which will be included on the next volume after Wordworth PD 2. I also plan to teach you how to create your own macros and Wizards by telling you all you need to know about ARexx with Wordworth. Other future ideas include a comprehensive tutorial on Sections and why you should use them. Plus much, much more. As I mentioned earlier, because of my education, I can not make any promises especially as to a release date. I will inform magazines where possible and hopefully they will review my software.
