Hello campers. Like a  British  train  on  a track  full of 
      leaves, ZXIV  has  finally  arrived  at  platform   PD,  slightly 
      later  than  was  expected.  Oh  well,  better  late  than never. 
      You'll all  be  pleased to know that this is going to be the last 
      issue of  the ZX  Files  on  the  Amiga.  Why? Firstly  I've just 
      started a new  job  which  means  I   don't   have nearly as much 
      free time  and   secondly   I'm   producing   the  ZX  Files  the 
      magazine,  an A5 publication, created entirely on the Amiga using 
      Pro Page 4.1 and a  host of  other Amiga utilities (advert at the 
      end of this letter). So there  you  have it,  all  is  not  lost, 
      unless of course you're called Escom (ha ha ha ha haaaaa).
      
                         I recently attended  the   Northern   Sam  and 
      Spectrum show, which whilst has room for  improvement  was  still 
      a  good  laugh. Even though  the  great  one didn't attend (Clive 
      Sinclair  you Philistine)  I  did  meet  up  with   some   of the 
      Spectrums top  coders  and  demo  writers.  Speccy   owners   can 
      expect  to  see some  great  demo's,  including a Tekkan  rip-off 
      and  an  X-Files demo. Funny  thing  is  that many of the  Speccy 
      demo writers use their Amiga's to write their graphics and music, 
      then convert them over to  the  Spectrum. Just thought you'd like 
      to know. As with the Amiga, the Spectrum still has a following in 
      Europe,  with  people  coming  over  from  Holland,   The   Czech 
      Republic  and  even  our  Euro  chums, Germany.
      
            So what have you got to  look  forward to in this issue? As 
      well as  the usual  stuff  these  disks   are   bursting   to the 
      seams with new Spectrum  games   and   demo's,   stuff  that  has 
      never appeared  before  on  any  other  CD   or   disk.   Quality 
      titles  that include Jet  Set  Willy  6  +  7, AlchNews, Jesus on 
      E's, Last Will Dizzy, Commando  2,  Paperboy  2, Smash  TV and  a 
      host of other superior titles. Hope you enjoy.
      
            I could go on  about  the  doom  and  gloom surrounding the 
      Amiga, but who  cares.  As  some  foreign  bloke  once sang"Don't 
      worry, be happy"!!!
