               Ingredients@1
               ===========@4
3lb  of  Ham  ribs @1
(  available  at most butchers)@4
1 tablespoon of clear honey
1 tablespoon of french mustard
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of soya sauce
1 tablespoon of tomato puree
1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup
a pinch of garlic salt or granules#8

have none just ignore it.@5

              Method.@1
              -------@3
Using a sharp knife cut up the ribs @1 (
they normally come in sheets )@3 You
should get around 20/24 ribs. Place
the ribs in a large pot and cover
with cold water and bring to the boil,

leave the ribs boiling for about 10
minutes#8 note:@1 this removes the salt
from the ribs!@3 Place all the other
ingredients in a cup and mix well.
Remove the ribs from the water and
allow to cool, Using a pastry brush,
cover the ribs with the barbecue
sauce and place them in a hot oven
until they turn a dark reddish brown.
Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice.@7

           Authors Note.@1
           ~~~~~~~~~~~~@6
Save  the liquid you boiled  the  ribs
in  as  it makes a wonderful base  for
lentil  or  split pea soup,   You  can
freeze it until required for use.  You
can  of  course   use  this  sauce  on
almost anything and it is particularly
good on chicken, chops or sausages.
