This time it's É REBELSÈ. Have you ever wondered why some ÊREALÈ talented people like Heatbeat, Chaos and Trix got kicked out. Give this article a close up! A while ago, we received a letter from ÉLORD HELMETÈ. He wanted us to write an article aboutÉ REBELSÈ, our members, organisation, aim, management, history and so on.. Well, here it is! Specially for ÉPMC Èand their diskmagazine ÊR.A.W.È! With this article we will also take the opportunity to clean up some mess there have been around Rebels lately.. Like the article in Raw 1 about Brainstorm! ÉHISTORY Ê------- ÈRebels was found in Denmark way back in 1988. Some really groovy productions like ÉREBELS MEGA DEMO 1 Èwere released by the danish members. The group started to rise in Denmark. Then it was party time in Sweden. The party was arranged by NORTHSTAR and the at that moment only existing danish Rebels went to the party. At the party, the swedish division was found and later on the world famous ÉREBELS MEGA DEMO 2 È was released. At that time many other funky and famous Rebels productions were released.. Like the popular ÉCOMA Èdemo, theÉ MEGABLAST Èmusicdisc and so on.. The group got bigger and bigger. Foreign division came and got kicked out. ÉINTERNAL PROBLEMS Ê----------------- ÈThen the group had some internal problems. All the swedish members joined The Silents, except for ÉM:ETÈ, I joined Cascade. Danish members left too, some (ÉStaticÈ, ÉDroopyÈ..) joined the Paradox movement (But they rejoined later on!). It was at this time I started to know ÉNickÈ (A Warfalcons member at that time), when TWF started to die, ÉNick Èdecided to join his new friends in Cascade. Things went well for a while. But then Cascade started to die. ÉREBUILD Ê------- ÈWe decided to leave that group and rebuild Rebels in Sweden. I asked ÉJake È if we could rebuild a swedish division and it was OK. We asked some good and talented friends from Silents, Cascade, Fairlight, Dual Crew, Northstar to join and they did. Some of the guys had been in Rebels before (Like ÉAltaÈ,É VicÈ..). At this time Rebels really started to grow, we got the talented finnish members and we got a division in Austria built up by mostly guys from Scoopex. Now we also got our first own board, The Rebellion (Our EHQ). Then we got a board in Germany, Swappers Delight and finally a WHQ in the states.. Pantheon (Now a days E.I.S.) with the world famous Sysop ÉVortexÈ. É ZaxxanÈ (A swedish member who also decided to leave Cascade) did a real good work to build up Rebels modem activities. We got bigger and better. We also got two cool ex Angels members in Belgium (ÉBrainkiller Èand É VinnyÈ!), and they are still in! Things went good. We got some new members and released some more great productions (like ÉDroopys Ê Total Triple Trouble Èdemo). ÉAUSTRALIAN SECTION KICKED OUT Ê----------------------------- ÈLater on we got really tired of our Austrian division, they didn't suit in Rebels. They released some real bad intros and stuff. So, they got kicked out around easter time 1991. We have also had an full division in Germany half a year ago.. ÉSANITY JOINED Ê------------- ÈSome guys from Sanity asked if they could join, because they didn't like the lousy organisation and some members in their present group. We let them join, but we were NOT intressted in all of them (some of them were not good enough). So we said NO to some of them. However, they couldn't accept this small but easy fact, so they started to act by their own.. They thought they were members and let people join without asking! So, now there was some real chaos in Germany. This made us really pissed off. We had a real hard work to clean up all their mess. When we were finnished there were only 6 members left in Germany. Sanity was really DEAD by then and some of the guys wanted to rebuild their old group. So, they left. Ê>ÉTURN PAGEÊ< ÿ
