ÈÌ         DISCMAG = DELAYS!

ÈThe   harder   competition   in  the
discmag  scene  has  its  drawbacks.
The  period  between  the  different
issues   has   grown   considerably.
Before  it  was  usual  to release a
issue  each second month.  Most mags
try  to keep these releasedates, but
due  to  lot work these releasedates
will always be pushed forward.

Here  are  the  delays  of  the Best
magazines in the scene:

ÉI.C.E -È released their last issue 7.
of January.  8 issue was released in
the  beginning  of  JUNE.Ê  3 MONTHS
DELAY!

ÉHACK-MAG -È released their last issue
in  the  end of November.  No issues
are  released  after  that,  even if
Hackmag  have  articles  for  >  4 <
issues. Ê  6  MONTHS  DELAYÈ  (Can  be
even more!)

ÉSTOLEN  DATA  -È  Released Issue 8 in
April with Ê4 MONTHS DELAY.

ÉMCDISK -È Released a issue in the end
of January.  Released a new issue in
the middle of may.Ê  3 MONTHS DELAY

ÉFREEDOM CRACK -Ê 4 MONTHS DELAY 
ÉRAW           -Ê 1 MONTH  DELAY


ÉGRAPEVINE È andÉ  TOP  SECRETÈ seems to
release    their    issues   without
considerably delays.

Ê---

ÈThe  question here is what the Scene
wants?   Do  you  want an issue more
often,  or  do  you want to wait for
half a year to get a issue. I think
that people want a issue more often
and give a F*CK in a better code.

ThereforeÌ   RAWË  released  this  3rd
issue  before  we  was finished with
our new code.

Although  we  didn't  wait  for  the
code,  RAW  was  delayed  one month,
because of exams and so on!

But  It doesn't take 6 months to get
enough É GOOD È articles  for an issue
even  if you do schoolwork, parties,
boozing,  girlfriend, discos, sport,
and other hobbies you may have.

After Ì RAWË  issue  1, I didn't touch
the  Amiga for a month.  But still I
could finishÌ RAW 2Ë to the deadline!


ÉI  think the reason of these delays
are:

Ê1)È   The   discmag   competition  is
getting better.

Ê2)È No mag can say they are the Best.

Ê3)È    For   the   first   time   the
competition is OPEN.  Some mags want
to  use this situation to make a mag
much  better  than all others and be
accepted as the best mag.


É    That's   only  a  theory!   
È(I know Newtons theory is better)
