2 5 abd 09a 46b ÌÉ DISHARMONY Ê------------------------------------ Ë ÉJASON/SILENTS- ÈYes...This is also one of the BEST pieces on the disk. An extraordinary good composition. Disharmony??... Where? This is one of the most harmonic melodies I ever heard. Personally I like to listen to this one when I go to sleep after a though day at school & work. It is quite RELAXING. ÉAXEL/BRAINSTORM- ÈYes, a coompetition song of the X-Mas party in Denmark. This song should be nominated for the most beautiful chord arrangements (Hey Tip! How much chords?). After a while a melody comes in which fits the tune perfectly. Nothing else to add. ÉPETER/PMC- ÈWhen I heard this tune I wondered why they chose such a name as 'Disharmony'. To me it doesn't sound disharmonic, but rather the opposite. Anyway I guess the name is not that important. This piece could have been much more expressive. It had good themes, but the arrangement didn't 'support' the themes as it should. An exception is the middle part where the arrangement, instrumenting and melody works excellent together to create the specific athmosphere. But the rest of the song sounds more 'empty' to me. Another weak point is the melody (or maybe I should call it improvisation) in the main themes, which is rather cheap. The beginning (intro) was too long, something that made it a bit boring. However I like the way the main themes and the middle theme were put together; It was smoothly and beautifully performed. ÉJESTER / SANITY- ÈThis one kicks off with soft drums and voluminous strings. A melody played with a "bell-piano" is added by which the composers manage to enlarge the highly pathetic feel about this song. Unfortunately the theme is once again rather uninteresting and unoriginal so for quite some time the piece just passes you by while you sit there and wait for the big surprise to come. Luckily enough this passage is succeeded by a rather different intermission. Here we find an extremely intelligent flow of harmonies which I believe could also be a part of a classical piece. After a humorous positive solution the composers continue with a variation of the main theme (noticed the structure ?). ÉRESUMEE: Èaverage samples and very boring main part but great intermission (!), still not a stunner and ÊTherefore only 55%. ÿ
