ÈAfter  "MON  - A DISASTER?", written
by me in the 1st issue of this Brill
mag, I am now back to critisize some
musicians on the scene.

Ê---

ÈMost  good musicians THINK they know
much better than everybody else what
is good music and what is BAD music.

Maybe  they  are  more  musical than
most  people  on the scene, BUT it's
the  ÉMAJORITY È who decide which tune
that is the best. 

Just  as  it  is  the Majoriy of the
people who decide who is going to be
Prime    Minister/President   in   a
country! 

Do  you  Musicians  believe  that  I
really care how much nice slides you
have  in  your  music.   What I care
about  is,  if  it is good listening
at?

The Best song from 1991 for usÉ " who
don't  shit about music"È was Enigma.
It was very good for your ears!  But
if you ask The Best musicians on the
scene  they will 100 % say something
else.  Why?

In  last  issue there was a question
to  Jason/Silents  like thisÉ " Can't
people seperate talent from taste?"
È
Why should we?  Should the musicians
try  to  learn us what is talent, so
we could vote for what we É"THINK"È is
most  talented?   If you ask me it's
better  to  vote  for  what  we like
BEST?

At É EVERY È party  there is musicians
who   say   that   the   Jury  isn't
qualified to select the right tunes.
Well,   who   is   qualified?   Only
Musicians?    The   tunes   that  is
selected don't necessarry have to be
the  "Best"  ones  in  a  view  of a
musician.   É THEY  ARE  BEST  LIKED!
ÈThat's aÉ BIGÈ difference!!  

There will always be a discussion of
which  tune  that's  Best, just like
the  discussion  of  what's  best of
Cola and Pepsi? É Accept it!
È
Sometime  I  feel Helpless!, I stand
beside  some  musicians telling this
song  is  Brilliant!   I FIND it Odd
and  not  too  good.   Some  minutes
later the musicians are slaughtering
a song which I find Nice.

After  the  compo  at  the Crusaders
Easter  party.   All  musicians told
that  this  was a Total Disaster.  I
didn't say to these musicians that I
liked  compo.   If I had, I would be
called a "TRATER".

Well, The Tecnosong from Gin/Garnage
won!Ê  (Please contact the RAW staff,
GIN!,  Ed).È   95  % of the musicians
told that this song was BULL.  But "
Éwe  who don't know shit about music"
Èliked it.

It's the same inÉ REALÈ life.  Beatles
and  Elvis are the two most ÉSOLDÈ the
last  40  years.  But are they the 2
ÉMOSTÈ  talented  living  in the earth
those 40 years?  No!  Some weeks ago
KLF  topped  the  chart, but at that
moment  where they the MOST talented
group in the world? É NO! 
È
I feel sorry for all those musicians
worldwide  that  make  very talented
music,  but  think  they work is not
rewarded enough,É BUT:È

What  should  I  do?   Should I kill
myself?    Should   I  not  vote  on
compos?  Should I quit the scene and
sell the Amiga?  Should I wish I had
a Dad who could play a instrument?

ÉMake the music to the listeners, not
only to impress yourself
