TITLE:PHOENIX CORNER PALETTE:0223 09a9 09ab 0aa9 BRUSH:07 3PHOENIX CORNER Here I am, an empty screen to fill with words in order to give a sense to the corner I am supposed to be the editor of. It shouldn't be a problem, actually, for me to talk, that's my favourite activity, more or less, and I would like to share with you, guys in the scene interested in chatting with a girl that loves the Amiga scene. In order to edit this section of Abnormalia I need your help and collaboration, anyway. Just write me something about whatever you think is worth to be discussed in my corner. Topics could range from simple but "important" matters like "What is the best way to know a girl in a disco?" to philosophical ideas about universe, human kind, life, God and so on. I will try to be useful to you for the first kind of questions. Giving you my girl-opinion about what is the best way of acting for a boy in certain situation (maybe my advices won't work with every girl, maybe they could work only with me... but I can't speak in the name of the whole female genre) or discussing with who is interested about other existencial topics, which I always like to face. I am here to listen you and to reply on the pages of this magazine to your questions, which can also be personal (not too much!) or which can concern also my favourite hobby, Amiga. I have already received a letter for the Phoenix corner (it was advertised on some diskmags) but this can be considered a bad example on how to contribute to this section. I am not here to look for boys or to fix dates across Europe, I am here to discuss and to talk, silly or macho letters don't impress me... 2Hallo Stefania, 2 my name is ****** and I have read on Absolute!'s magazine that 2you are making a mag [...] 2What have you said? Have I to talk about myself? Well, I am 1.75 cm tall, 2blond, green eyes... but I better show you my info sheet I made four months ago 2for my friends [...], where there is also a recent photo (photo? Yes! There is 2also the photo!). Am I cool or not? But who are you? how are you? How old 2are you? What do you do? 2On the advertisment there was written NO SWAPPING, but considering that I am so 2handsome, I hope you will make an exception. No? C'mon... 2I send you the diskmag where I've seen your advert, I hope you haven't already 2it and that you don't steal me the disk (= send it back or I come to Milan 2and...). 2[...] Cia', ****** 2PS I need the envelope, send it back! "Dear Tafano, I really don't care about your aspect, cos I'm lesbian. Shocked? I don't like boys anymore! I lost my only love last year and I do believe no one could substitute him, so I'm trying to fill the loss with homosexual relationships. Anyway, I received only your letter, no disk included, so I can't send it back to you (aren't you a little bit beggarly?)" 3Uhm, this is not a right answer, maybe it's better... "My dear first writer, I'm so happy to have received your letter, ok it wasn't exactly what I thought but I'm sure it wasn't your fault. You seem a very nice boy, so we can avoid the mag and meet as soon as possible... would you like to see my home? I've a very strange bed.." 3No, really not, better a simple... "Well, even if these aren't the questions I waited I'm here to answer. Unfortunatly I haven't received your floppy so I can't tell you what do I think about your aspect, but I can say something about me: I'm 20, I study modern literature and I'm always looking for jobs. I've nothing against swapping but I haven't time for it, so I can't make an exception for you or everybody else, sorry. What else I can say, well I do not use to steal disks or envelopes, you'll have back both and I hope that you'll write me again even if the beginning wasn't one fo the best. By the way, it isn't nice to send faked stamps the first time to a girl." If you want to send me something for my corner, this is the address, hoping you have understood the spirit... MOLINARI STEFANIA VIA PRIVATA CATANIA 9 20133 MILANO ITALY If by chance you don't believe that I exist, or if you think I am not a girl, give a look to RAW 5. You know, it's not nice to be considered NOT real...
