TITLE:SUICID 6 - THE MOST SPANDIMERDA MAG EVER PALETTE:0223 099b 09a9 0c99 3 SUICID 6: A SPANDIMERDING MASTERPIECE We all know that the best place to look for savage spandimerding are diskmags. Yes, there are always exalted scrolltexts where a good piece of spandimerda can be seen, but mags are always a more appropriate field for our favourite activity. Sometimes few spandimerding comments brings mags to interesting and enjoyable quarrels and wars, that's always what we are looking for and that probably is going to happen once again in the scene. A very enjoyable exchange of points of view has taken place between 3PROPAGANDA and 3SUICID1. The discussion will surely go on, with utter satisfaction of everybody, but the bases are already powerful and promising. SCENARIUM can provide you in exclusive a dossier on what can become a powerful spandimerda warfare, read, enjoy and, first of all, learn. It all started with a more or less innocent article of 3Colorbird/Circle1 in PROPAGANDA 1 called "Some opinion on diskmags" where the author explained the importance of design in diskmags (it was one of those 1212 bytes articles whose unique purpose is to fill space). Colorbird had the bad luck of writing this sentence: 2"How many diskmags with bad layout and controlling system are high in the 2charts? None! Take a look at Suicid#5 and you will puke over the lousy 2layout!" Well, the little stone was launched and the reply of 3Zinkfloid/TRSI1, main editor of SUICID has been quite violent, let's read what he said in his 6th issue... Editorial: 2"A lot of people dislike SUICID because we really do not care about other people 2who always wanted to insult or to kick our mag." Of how he doesn't care of others' opinions you can understand from what follows... Personal message: 2"Colorbird, you are for sure one of the biggest idiots in scene! First because 2of writing such shit in your mag and second because you know absolutely nothing 2about designing! (Or would you say that YOUR mag is well designed? If you 2think so, you should order psychiatrical help!)" Excellent quality spandimerding! It has earned Zinkfloid a special award. Review of Propaganda 1: 2"This mag is done by some ex SCOOPEX members but I ask myself how they managed 2it to become SCOOPEX members before. My pals on VIC 20 can code better routines 2than these dudes! 2PROPAGANDA is all in all the worst mag I've seen since one year... 2The code is prehistorique (coded in Basic?) and I had to laugh a lot as I saw 2the contents. The articles are so boring that I felt into a deep sleep after 3 2articles, the music is no music, the gfx are by no means gfx and Propaganda is 2no mag. 2But the worst randy thing is an article by the main editor Colorbird who wrote 2an unqualified article about designing in mags. In this article he has the 2opinion that the designing in SUICID 5 is pure shit and this mags will never 2reach the charts. Nevertheless he is so brave to say that Propaganda has a very 2cool designing (are you stoned?) and it will be very successful (even more 2stoned eh?). He has a strange sense of humour! 2Maybe it is Colorbirds reason to become famous if he insults other mag but I 2think this is the wrong way. A shithead will never be famous (go to your mum 2and cry!!). Anyway I reccomend this mag to everybody in order to see how a mag 2should not be done! Have fun with this worst mag I have ever seen!" An absolute masterpiece in the art of spandimerding! First notice how the review is objective and detached, then take note of how the personal note (Colorbird's critics) doesn't influence at all the opinion of the reviewer and finally admire how things never said in an article are reported and used as offencing weapon (Colorbird's unexistent praise of his own design). I think that this review has all the rights to enter in the history of the Spandimerda awards and I propose it as a document to be studied by future pupils. A classic! This is just the beginning, we hope, because the second issue of Propaganda is yet to be released and, be sure of that, Colorbird won't stay mute in front of Zinkfloid's spandimerding. Stay tuned, spandimerded reader, the best is still to come!
