GRAPEVINE MAGAZINE IS NOT DEAD!

    The  rumours  concerning the death
of   Grapevine   (and  LSD,  for  that
matter) have been greatly exagerated.

    Basically,  the  reasons  you have
not seen Grapevine for some time are:

(1)  Oedipus  (the editor, or should I
say,  ex-editor)  disappeared for some
time,   only  resurfacing  recently  -
without  any  articles (not his fault,
but not convenient).

(2)  Both  Shagratt  and  I  have been
finishing  off  game  projects at work
(ready for Xmas, etc) and have not had
time  to  spare  for living, yet alone
coding anything.

(3)  There  has been a CHRONIC lack of
article  contributions.   I  mean,  we
have   had  nothing  in  FOUR  MONTHS.
Nothing   at   all.   Before,  just  a
handful of new stuff.

If  you  want  Grapevine  magazine  to
continue,  then  we are happy to carry
on   producing  it,  as  regularly  as
possible.   However, we can only do it
with  contributions  in  the  form  of
articles.

    Anyone  can  contribute an article
to  the magazine, you don't have to be
a  scene  member, and your article can
be  on  any  topic  at  all,  with any
content  at  all.   Not many magazines
can  offer  you  that sort of freedom!
If  you  want  some  sort of examples,
then check out a previous issue of the
magazine.

    The  format of you contribution is
simple:    plain  5 ASCII 1  text.   But
please:   spell  check  your articles,
and   articles   that   are  typed  in
4CAPITALS ONLY1 will not be accepted.

    Sending us your articles could not
be easier.  You can send them by snail
mail   to   the   following  addresses
(please  enclose  an  SAE  if you want
your disk returned).  Please also sign
your  articles  so  we  know who wrote
them!    You'd  be  amazed  that  some
people  send  us stuff, and we have no
idea who wrote it...
