        Before you say it, yes I know it is definately a sad idea in the
first place to review this production, and my street cred (if I actually
had any) has plummited now that this article is readily available on the
scene.   It was so silly that I just had to review it, so I already know
that I am a sad dood, OK.

        Well  where  do I start.  The actual production has been written
by  Mike Archer in AMOS.  Now I don't know whether he means AMOS or AMOS
Pro, and not being a programmer (as Freak is only too happy to point out
at  every bloody opportunity) I don't really know the difference between
the 2, or how to tell if the program has been done in either.

        This  is  really  a  kiddies item, so I was in my element really
heheheheheh,  and it contains 14 nursery rhymes for you to singalong to.
I will now list them for you to see, (in alphabetical order):

                      Baa Baa Black Sheep
                      Humpty Dumpty
                      Hush Little Baby
                      Little Brown Jug
                      Old King Cole
                      Oranges and Lemons
                      Polly Put The Kettle On
                      Sing a Song of Sixpence
                      Skip To The Lou
                      Ten Green Bottles
                      The Grand Old Duke Of York
                      Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
                      Wee Willie Winkie and...
                      Yankee Doodle

        for  some  reason best known to Mr Archer he has actually got 16
tunes on the disk, but only 14 in the program.  He has omitted:

                      London Bridge Is Falling Down
                      Mary Mary Quite Contrary

        Maybe  that was an error on his part, but anyhow it still leaves
14 most excellent tunes for you to listen to.

        One  thing  with  the  tunes  is  that  they  all  have the same
introductionary  4  bars,  and some of the songs feel that like they are
played  in  slightly  to  fast or to slow mode.  The kiddies (and me and
Freak) will still love it though, so don't fret too much.

        The  song is listed and the words flash white as you are to sing
them,  in  true karaoke fashion.  The songs then scroll as necessary for
you to read the correct line.  It is a smooth scroll which also helps.

        There  is also a picture for you to look at whilst
singing  these  songs,  er  I mean whilst listening to the
tunes  and  not  singing  along  honest.  It is a piccy of
Humpty Dumpty and a smile sun.  The picture is drawn about
as  well  as  I can draw, so if you have had the chance to
see  a  little  known  production  called Farmyard Animals
Slideshow,  done  by me, Freak and some other sceners then
you will know my drawing capabilities.

        I  don't  know the age of this program as there is
no  way  of  telling.   I  hope that it isn't too old, and I am at least
reviewing a new production to the scene.

        It  is  a giggle, and OK for a look the once, but if you keep at
it it could drive you mad.

        There  is  a  slight  bug  in  the  fact that you can't quit the
program, but when pressing the CTRL-C combination it does quit, but to a
black screen.  That's useful Mr Carter NOT!!!  Maybe I am a little harsh
in  this  review  sometimes as it is a program for kids afterall, but it
does get a good overall total.

        As this is a review I suppose I should get a table of marks done
so here goes.

     the sadness factor only counts if you are over the age of 10.
