"TFF LIVE" - AN UPDATE by Simon Plumbe You may remember back in Issue 4, we ran an article called "TFF Live" about a series of "roadshows" that we are starting to run, where you, the reader, can get the opportunity to come and meet us here at Infinite Frontiers, buy the latest titles from us and offer feedback and comments on any of our releases and have a chat about Trek in general. Now, there hasn't been anything else mentioned in TFF since then, so I thought it was time for a progress report! Well, since the first report, we've been ridiculously busy as you'll see below. Computer Shows Since December '92, we've been attending the ALL FORMATS COMPUTER FAIRS at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham as part of the stand held by one our stockists, CYNOSTIC. Basically, we've been going there now for almost 10 months, taking over their stands and harrassing all their customers until they buy TFF! At these, you can usually find myself, Sven Harvey, Phil Innes- Chaytor (who is there with CYNOSTIC anyway!) and Mark Cotterill. You can tell who we are as we are all usually wearing TFF name badges! Occasionally, we'll even take a few other guys along from the group too! For the forseeable future, you'll be able to catch us there on the following dates: December 11th 1993 January 23rd 1994 February 13th 1994 March 20th 1994 All of the fairs run from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm and they take place at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham, off Junction 6 on the M42. In the not too distant future, we are even hoping to start having our OWN stands where you can get all the latest I.F. releases at our usually cheap mail order prices! Just look for the stand with the massive Infinite Frontiers poster!! Also, for those of you who were there, we even attended the SPOTLIGHT AMIGA show that took place last month in London, and myself, Sven Harvey and Phil Chaytor were there trying to persuade as many people to buy TFF as possible! Conventions We are planning something rather special for a convention early next year. A large number of us are going to T'KON '94, namely myself, Sven Harvey, Neil Safi, and Pio de Cicco to name but a few, and we are almost certainly going to be having a couple of tables in the Dealer's Room and yes, we will be taking a few Amigas with us running hands-on demonstrations of the mag and forthcoming projects all weekend. As usual, we'll all be wearing our TFF badges and you'll recognise me because I'll be wearing a large sash as one of the security team leaders at the con, as will Pio who's the con's head of security! If we can keep to the release schedule we have now set for ourselves, we will have available at the con Issues 1 - 8 of TFF, as well as a few other new titles and we will have our FULL range available for you to try and buy, including the entire Agatron range, AM/FM, The Final Frontier, our T-shirt range, our new paper zine and anything else we have written at the time. Just look for the table with a couple of A2000's on it with Bjørn Lynne's or Allister Brimble's music blasting out at full volume! Genesis II Club Meetings While we won't have any form of display or anything, you can usually find a few of us at the regular club meetings held by GENESIS II - if you're there (and they are open to non-members), come up to us and have a chat. The best chance you'll have of finding us is if you look in the bar!! Future Plans One thing we are now trying to do with all future Infinite Frontiers releases is to time their release dates to coincide with these events. The last issue of TFF was released at the All Formats Computer Fair on 27th June and we are hoping to release Issue 8 (yes, you read that right!) at T'Kon '94. If we finish it on time, we'll try to release Issue 7 at the January All Formats Fair, but if we can't, we'll try and release a TFF Special, a slideshow or at least the current edition of BEYOND REALITY!!
