Star Trek Models: UPDATE - DECEMBER 1992/JANUARY 1993

Since my  original article  was written (back in September) there have been a 
few new Star Trek model releases that merit any Trek fan's attention.

The  Geometric  1/6  model of  Lieutenant Worf  is now  available from  Comet 
Miniatures for £42.99 plus  £2 postage and packing which compares well to the
already  released Captain  Picard at  £54.99 (+p&p).  Data  is  due in  early 
February.

A new  range of Star  Trek: The Next Generation figures  are now available in 
the U.K. from  Playmates. The  figures are  double the  size of  their Galoob 
counterparts  and each  comes with  a set of accessories. They are  generally 
available for £9.99 each except for Deanna Troi and the Borg figures. However
TV Toy Zone is advertising both these figures at the normal  price and can be
contacted  on  (0883)  340629 or  write  to  TV  Toy  Zone, 34  Francis Road, 
Caterham-on-the-Hill, Surrey CR3 5NR.

Creatures Unlimited  are advertising a small supply of Dinky Klingon Cruisers
in mint  condition in thier window  boxes for only £27.99 + £3.50 p&p  due to 
thier weight.

Finally there are rumours that Hasbro maybe releasing a range of TransFormers
based on Star  Trek Starships. If true, which is  very unlikely, going on the 
accuracy  of some  of the  models `vehicle  modes' these  could be  something
special...
