³Bash II article by Grekko/Live Act ²---------------------------------- ¹ Bash 2 was organized by Soc.Brigade+23 Celsius Crew in Kecskemet (Hungary). This event was held on 21-23 February 1992. I know you aren't interested in reading a partyreport from this small country, but remember this mag from here too. I TRY showing only the facts, not any personal craps and messages. Lets go! This party was the second, continues the Bash I in the same place but on November 1991. Although they adverted this event in the BASH I invitation, I got the current date in few days before the party. I got an invitation too on 19 of February!!! And only not me, the whole hungarian scene as I discovered. There weren't foreign dudes either on Bash I or on Bash II. The partyplace difficult to reach, mainly that haven't map. But the place needing any marking in the town. Otherwise it's a culture house. The entrance fee was 250 Ft. You got a cardticket for that. The partyplace consist of a hall (100 dudes) and a main room (40 dudes) and there were 3 sleepin' room where you should sleep away, these are cool because there were sponges and a few sleeping bags and silent (not during the actions). There were some other room like cafeteria (not nonstop). The peoples are good enough on Friday I mean not much lamers. But on Saturday... the gamers and the sceners rate 50-50%. Hopefully by evening the gamers went home. I think they got the news of the party from mag called Sledge Hammer by Soc.brigade in hungarian and from the hungarian TV. There were some actions like live concert from TNT???/23 Celsius Crew and a competition which consist of eating of Pizza... etc... Sorry I was not present at these shows. And there were an exhibition of real pictures from some members of 23C and I don't remember whose else. (My personal: These are cool, but there were a VIP (with 40 years), who tryied explain of secret of these piccys...and he said such things which drived me crazy with JABY and VITI/Live Act whom by a fortunate chance enter the room at that time.) The demo, intro, gfx, music competition was held on saturday night. You should had vote on the ticketcard. There wasnt projector during the party so wasnt on the comp too. The comp went on a TV. There were about 90 voters, but at the end of the comp when the music comp went, there were 25. Good comp, but I missed a pojector, seperating the demo and zax+gfx comp., and higher prizes. Anyway untill the best organized competition (leaving the prizes) in Hungary. (good eh???) The results: (1000 Ft=12$) Demo 1. Genesis+Live Act (5000 Ft) 2. Adt/Soc.Brigade (2000 Ft) As you see the prizes are far away from the Crystal party in Aars. All the prize is reached the placed third in gfx comp of Aars (you should laugh.hehe) Summary: I can't visit any foreign party till now, but I think this party are far away from the scandinavian parties. The reason is ofcourse the hungarian economy which not reach the countries in west, but we working hard on it. This party wasn't as bad as you see. Although they promised such things, which werent true (videoroom, cabaret... etc.) , there were some actions, competition and nothing more. Good place for meeting with friends, but for a bigger event requires : less gamers (I mean nothing), foreign scenedudes, more interesting actions, better competition, marks for the partyplace, better organized invitations... etc... Im looking forward the M12-TRSI Easter conference for a better time ... Heres the list which hungarian groups were present: 23 Celsius Crew, Cerberos, Genesis, Live Act, Red Rats, Soc.brigade, 1 member from Majic 12 and 1 from Trsi and some other smaller groups but I am not know them enough: Muffbusters, Twin Sectors, Amnesty, Fire Crew...
