After       the      article      from
Chesney/BRAINSTORM,I  want to give you
my opinion.  First this idea is really
interesting because the Amiga scene is
'BIG' and worldwide so it will be good
to reward outstanding people.It may be
late  for  1991!   But this party will
need  a  lot  of organization  and  it
ought  to  be  different  from  a demo
party.Why  not organize a formal party
with  toast  and  champagne instead of
coke,beer  and  sandwiches.  About the
location  :   Not in Finland or France
or  UK  but in Denmark because it's in
the  center of Europe's scene and in a
rather  big  city  than  a little town

organization   and  the  organizers  :
only   experienced   groups   can/must
organize  this  kind  of party.Several
ways  are  possible  but  it  will  be
better  with  about  2 or 3 members of
each elite team to organize it.It will
be  better for only experienced groups
to  take part at this party because if
all  the  good groups are there (is it
not   the  aim?   Because  by  example
imagine the real oscars without Steven
Spielberg  or  Kevin Costner!),  there
will  not be enough place for too many
people (especially  lamers), you  know
that during oscars,MTV awards there is
only  elite!  You will be able to take
part   in   it  only  with  a  private

@t5invitation. It  will be better to have
an  organization  like  in other award
shows   with  a  seated  audience  and
rostrum    for   winners   and   maybe
comperes!   About  the  Charts  :   an
award  for  best  :   Trackmo Demo GFX
Artist  Picture  Musician  Music group
Coder Idea Intro Ientro Disk mag Music
disk  and so on.Only first place!  Not
a  second and third.  About the jury :
That  is the main problem!  Some rules
will  be  like the Eurocharts (you can
not    vote    for   your   group   or
yourself).The  jury must be made up of
important   people   with   leader,gfx
artist(s),musician(s),coder(s)     and
trader(s) of each group (because there
are many  in the scene).  But problems
come with foreign sections and lots of
skilled  guys  in  a  same group so it
will  be  difficult to get a jury with

the  same number of members from every
group   in  the  jury,so the jury is a
problem.    About  the  competitors  :
every    group    select   their   own
trackmo,   demo,   pic,   music,   gfx
artist,musician  and  coder  by int'rn
selection  and  come to take part only
with  them.(For  example  SILENTS will
take  part  in  the trackmo award with
Global  Trash  or  Ice and not the two
ones)   The   voting  system  will  be
the  same that in 'normal' parties but
only   good   groups+competitors  will
vote!   It  seems to be better but for
PHENOMENA  it  will be a shame if only
one  of Tip,Mantronix and Firefox will
be  able  to take part in the musician
award.   It  can  not  be based on the
Eurocharts because not everybody votes
and  a  voting  system  will be better
than    an    agreement   about   each

:   Enigma,Uno,Azatoth  and  so on are
high  ranking  for  1991!   Maybe it's
also  the  aim  of  this party to make
surprise  about  winners!   About  the
Award  :   Money  is not a good idea,a
real  award will be better like golden
disk  but  where can we find it???It's
too expansive to make it!  Another way
is  for CRUSADERS to release a special
issue  with  the  results based of all
issues  published  in  1991  but Elite
didn't  vote!   Or  to manage an issue
where  ONLY  elite  will vote (but all
the  elite!   Azatoth,  Walkman,  Uno,
Tip,  4-Mat,  Golem,  Tec, Celebrandil
and  so  on).Why  only ELITE?  Because
there  is  more  average and bad teams
than  experienced  ones  voting in the
Eurocharts.Note  that  at  last voting
for  CRUSADERS  will be allowed!!!  In

course  it will be great but it raises
a  lot  of  problems  to do it for the
Amiga  scene!Anyway  we  can try to do
