LORD HELMET and PERPLEX joined up with SPACEBALLS so RAW will be released from the same group which released STATE OF THE ART and MOBILE DESTINATION UNKNOWN !! First of all I would like to comment some things which are written in this issue of RAW: There is an article in it from my old friend `CYBERSONIK of ALCATRAZ` (who advanced currently to the new `MC DISK` main-ed.): `You are absolutely right with your ZINE article`! I have also read that interview and I think that CHESTER and ORLANDO are two childish, arrogant guys who won`t accept that their mag ZINE is `out of order`, or better `which is not liked by the scene as much as it has been in former times`. To be honestly, it is no big loss, that they are not producing the ZINE mag any longer, the scene will overcome it, hehehe Now back to RAW itself. For me it is no point of discussion that RAW is the best mag in the scene! The number one position is absolutely what it deserves and if there are people who have the oppinion that RAW is `not the best`, they must be blind or silly!! This fifth issue has made a major change, now RAW contains only articles about the scene which was again a superb idea by LORD HELMET. Now it is `THE SCENE MAG` and it is better than everything before. The articles are excellent, no wonder when the best article writters on earth give their contribution to this mag (like LORD HELMET, CYBERSONIK, MACNO..). The credits are like a `Who is who` in the scene. Everybody who is known in the scene also appears in RAW! As I said the articles are excellent, the ideas great and the whole concept of RAW simply `State of the art` or to be not so enthusiastic - just marvellous. How should another diskmag (e.g. SUICID) ever reach that standard ? Answer: I Wait for the future!!! The designing fits totally too, you just have to admire the loading picture, done by PEACHY/MASQUE-TRSI and you know how the upcoming rest will be! I have never seen such a cool picture before! Won`t you contribute to SUICID too, PEACHY? The intro is well done too (good idea with that page of a newspaper!!) The code is fast and perfect as always but I only dislike the music a bit which doesn`t accompagne the mag very well. Maybe there are different points of view concerning the music but it is not my taste. To sum up - it is a perfect mag, maybe the best mag ever produced and the most popular one. Another rank as the number one position in the charts would be an absolutely FAKE!!! SUICID rating: -------------- - world champion !! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GRAPEVINE issue 15 by LSD main-ed............PAZZA music..........ECHO, BERNARD SUMMER coding.............SHAGRATT ..........MICHAEL/NUANCE graphics...........WATCHMAN and FISH A short question at the beginning: Which mag contains more articles than a reader would ever expect ? Hehe, Guess you all know what it is....GRAPEVINE is back again with an enormous strengh of 3 disks. My compliments to PAZZA who really did again a great editing job! (I really believe that he must have some editing-slaves, or is he really that mad, editing every two months almost 400 articles?) This time GRAPEVINE contains about 375 articles about everything. Scene and life, `how to cook` to `religious belief and disbelief`. There are articles for every `man` and for every taste! The coding by SHAGRATT is as we expect it from him. The code is fast, reliable and suits the mag in a perfect way. The graphics are just average and the music is not my taste. From time to time I really believe that I have a bad musicial taste because I always dislike the music pieces in diskmags but it really seems that the producers do not chose their musics carefully.....I always think that a music should help to create a special reading atmosphere but only `a few` mags (hello old ICE mag!) are readable with the originial music. Well, where have I been? Oh, GRAPEVINE issue 15...It is nice to read for me, there are from time to time some quite good articles in it but I even need two months to finish reading an issue (I try to read every article in a mag!). So this is no attack against the lenght of GRAPEVINE but maybe they should release it every 3 months so I would not have any stress to read it. Haha, I know that PAZZA won`t do that as I wish it!
