Music by....TEX GFX and Design....PEDRO and FLENDER Voters: 70! =========== The third issue of `The Charts` did a major change towards the positive direction. It has been recoded and many new ideas have been introduced which make `The Charts` now clearly better. Now it has a lot of painted icons on the right side to klick on. The choice is almost the same as in the EUROCHARTS - best coders, mag etc... The music is rather boring and the gfx as well as the design is not more than average. The charts are very similar to all other ones, there are minor changes in the hirarchy. But RAM JAM has the problem that they have too less voters to give a quite an objective view. They will have to gain more votes to be more successful. Without any doubt it is the best issue RAM JAM has released but on the one hand they are too unknown and on the other one they are too similar to more known and successful mags which will not give them too many chances in the future. Otherwise I honour the work they have obtained themselves but in a time where almost too much charts sweep the land, the indroduction of new charts is, to be honestly, not the best idea at all! SUICID rating: -------------- -rather useless! Same goes for issue 4 (100 votes) which has been released right some days ago!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EUROPEAN TOP 20 issue 6 by EQUINOX Main-ed........RIOTER GFX by.......JONEZ Code...........RIOTER Music by.....AVENGER .....LORD WINSEY .....THUG and MAZON Voters: 348! ============ 348 voters is an enormous amount of people voting in a charts mag. They seem to represent the oppinion of the scene very trendy and I agree with the result. But there is one point in the charts which I dislike a lot.: You are allowed to vote for EQUINOX members and for EQUINOX themselves. What should that be good for? Many guys probably vote for Equinox to get free advertisments (possible) or if they would like to join (also possible!) Then there are all EQUINOX members who vote in the charts too and I would be scared if they are not voting for themselves. I DO NOT SAY THAT THEY ARE FAKING! (hi Jackpot!) The charts are by no means objective anymore if you can vote for the group that produces the charts. You should really stop this, such things can easily lead to a bad oppinion about your charts, isn` t it so ? Exept that `heavy fault` the charts are produced in a very professional way, the news are really up to date, some articles are interesting to read and the gallery has a breathtaking quality!(good scanner, eh?) Some things I do not like is the bad English language sometimes and the boring and really uninteresting articles by PEARL/ANGELICA who seems to believe that crap he writes too. The gfx by JONEZ are nothing special but the musics are fantastic, especially the first loaded module! I do not understand why EQUINOX are possessed to be the number one charts in the scene. For me, STB`s EUROCHARTS are and will be the number one (as they have released more issues and the name is more known in the scene!) EQUINOX should be satisfied to hold a safe and clear number 2 and not to try to insult the EUROCHARTS wherever they can!!!
