	Well if you have used DPaint before, which I am sure every Amiga
owner on the earth has, and you have never seen Image Processing before
then you are missing out on a serious aspect of Image generation and
manipulaton. Quite simply ADPro, as it is known, is the ideal supplement to
the graphical artist or graphics ripper,( ala me !! ). 
	ADAPro allows you to modify images in a multitude of fashions and
as an excellent additiona feature allows you to load and save images in an
impressive array of formats. These formats include the standard IFF, the
more recent GIF and the new exciting JPEG ( incredible data compression
abilities ). That is only halve of it. Also catered for are IBM PC picture
formats such as TIFF and PCX. I have used the PCX saving facility and then
simply Cross Dossed the image to a PC disk. Using Corral Draw ( the PCs
equivilant to our DPaint, except a lot better ! ) the image was then
displayed on a horrible PC clone.
	As you can already see ADPro has some pretty impressive features
but where it really does excell is in the image manipulation arena. Before
ADPro there was the impressive Butcher and PicMate. Both of these
programmes offered excellent manipulation but since the arrival of ADPro
they have been most certainly relegated. ADPro to quote CUAmiga....
......"Is a Goliath of a programme"......   Now you may be asking what the
hell is image manipulation anyway ? Well I have included some examples of
what can be done. The only reason they are downsized is to save on memory.
The different types of image modifications include Woodcarve where exactly
that happens to your image, Rub Thro` where an embossed impression onto
engre paper is created, Line Art where the picture is convereted into an
outline drawing ( useful for DTP clip art creation ), and Convolve where a
matrix is added to your graphical masterpiece. This latter process or even
all of them may sound pointless but to improve or add variety to your work
they are real darlings. Do not take my word for it though, just have a look
at the images on the menu.

	On summerizing ADPro is an absolute gem of a programme though for
the amature it is probably too expensive. A new shareware programme called
Digital Illusions which features on this months Amiga Format Cover Disk
offers a limited number of manipulations, at very small cost I may add, and
gives you the flavour of what this processing is all about.
